My Trx4 Sport Best Mods/Upgrades
Thank you all for watching i hoped this has helped you guys unlock the power and performance of your trx4 sport.
All parts can be found on ebay, you might be able to find some cheaper but search around untill you find some that are decent and cheap.

Just a heads up from a comp guy, a good plastic bumper is designed to hit the rock first to help bump you up the heavy obstacles.

This was my first crawler. I have like 7 now and it's still my favorite. It's a hard body class 2 now still with stock frame rails and hangs with the comp chassis trucks. Good tips. I'm glad people are still buying these. Great truck

Exactly my story. It was my first one to him by default. It’s the one that goes out the most even though I have all the coolest and newest ones. It’s just basic fun

Just picked up a stock used trx4 sport a few days ago. Pretty impressed so far. Had to put some wheels and tires on, stock foams were disintegrated. Rc4wd Baja claws on injora steel beadlocks. Thanks for all the tips. Great explanations of what you've done to yours. 👍👍

Did you get the kit version? It's a better choice over the RTR.
A cheap way to attain overdrive is with tire size.. put the taller ones on the front.. No rule that says your tread patterns need to match..
The TRX4 is decent. I ended up selling mine. The best shock setup I've found for TRX4 shocks would be the Dixie mod. I prefer the Gmade GS02 T/A Pro. I like it's chassis layout better than the TRX4 and SCX10 II. The multi suspension options are great including a cantilever setup.

well if you set them all side by side the traxxas chassis really the only one thats different. the element, gmade, vanquish etc. are all just axial scx10's

they are cheapo ebay specials unbranded chinese, i dont believe in the name brand stuff for everything
So how did you address the poor steering radius. Yep, definitely would take scx10 2 over sport.

it turns up to 50° each way after some adjustments
Flex is overrated especially in the rear

yes! getting it to flex evenly is the best thing to achive, super flex can hurt you more often then help you

getting underdrive first is easier on you and the drivetrain
