That bus seems powerful and quite a performer, The driver I've noticed is really an exemplary performer too and would count on him in long haul journeys

Same case when you wanna visit Mandera... Feels like such places are really not in the Kenyan territory.

Kwani visting your own country has become un issue know they did that security purpose but went over board by returning guys back to Nairobi

if it weren't for the order to return with you, you could've stayed behind and return through the Garissa-Garsen Route. Don't they use that route? Reminds me of my first trip to Moyale,was also on Seat One, on reaching that check point at Merti near Archer's Post, I was the first to Alight, The officer asked me the same question because of my ID, He kept me aside,checked everybody else then said am remaining behind. The driver i was with came to my aide and that's how i proceeded.😅

When at the check point on ma way to isiolo the soldiers were so friendly

How was the police officer going to ensure that you went back on the same day? Did he take your ID card or something? I don't know if it would be helpful, but I would suggest that you take this matter up with whoever is in charge of tourism, maybe the Lamu County government, something.

Love your content. It is so disappointing that you could not visit as a tourist in your own country. Think about the revenue that the County misses due to such profiling.

I think they were skeptical because of all the cases of young people being recruited by alshabab going to Lamu and beyond.

The officer demanded that you go back with the driver of the bus out of Lamu in the evening?! What about the other bus passengers who were on board?! Were you the only one with your partner who were discriminated against out of all the passengers?! That was very wrong of the Police Officer indeed and this case should be brought to the attention of the interior minister!
