That’s just downright abuse! 😂 Now I get how you go through drive shafts every time you take the rustler out.

I put the xo-1 conversation on mine and the axle shafts are the same as the ones on your slash and the ends are bigger but the threaded ends break easily. I put the same as you have on your slash in my rustler and haven't had a problem. I put the aluminum carriers front and rear too.

love the vids and yeah the shafts a crap im using traxxas metal 1s now they are good the only other things 1 broke were front shock tower bad landing doing a double backflip and the front bulkhead have rpm 1 now get bashing

Kev use the Tekno RC M6's OR (the ones that I use) the GPM Driveshafts for Rustler 4x4 (although they're different for rear and front) Alright! c ya in the next bashing video!

Kev, if you do put gtr shocks on it, get VG racing springs for them, they are better than the traxxas springs

It’s because of the small wheels. I had the same problem then I put 4 pro line trenchers 2.8 and it can backflip and even on small jumps and the car it just a animal with the new tires.

U gotta git the MIP driveshafts there made in the U.S and are extremely strong they are a little pricy tho

My rustler 4x4 vxl is overheating te whole time i already have a small hobbywing fan on the esc i don’t know how to fix it?

Kev how do I adjust thes servo alignment? The servo is so buried in and I am not sure how to align it.

What are the black things in the back inside ur lipo station? Smoke detectors with horns?

What gears are you running?

what gearing do use to keep it from overheating cause i know you run it hard but seems like it last for you mine drains battery fast

Why not get an Arrma Outcast and not have to upgrade anything?

Lel1967 it comes with a 17T pinion in the box but it is prone to overheating and is not recommend for jumps or dirt. I use a 14/50 gear ratio in mine. It goes about 50-55 MPH.

Kevin, do you allow your batteries to charge unattended? Just curious. Everyone here SHOULD know NOT to charge LIPO'S unattended. It's rare but sometimes they go bad.

Ive just bought this model and im using 3s batteries but my speedcontrol shuts down after 5 minutes due to overheating have you got anny tips

@@thefirst12lickit yes you can fit a small fan (like a mini pcfan) on top of your esc heatfins and if you use the higher gear ratio for top speed like i had you can use a smaller gear with that i can play all day and break other components xD

Surchaufeur I have RC cars over 30 years old..... depends on how you take care of them.....Schumacher Cat XLS for example....1989.....still got it.....
