Rule number one never go out bashing with just one RC car 😂

In every video of you with the rustler i always see the rustler as a over excited puppy what goes to the beach/forrest etc.

I have a little tip for Rustler, Slash, and Hoss 4x4's ; you should by the front shocks protection of the stampede, cause on these cars the front shocks are highly exposed to stones, (and maybe concrete pillars...) and adding these protections wil prevent from any damage to these pieces...

That was a fun video. I really enjoyed watching the rustler and xmaxx drive side by side on the track

I love watching you drive the rustler 4x4.

My nephews slash did the same thing, had to replace servo.

@@AverageRCBasher its the same one they use un the trx4. I havent had a problem with that one but it has no torque and the udr is much heavier. I put a savox 1256tg in and it is amazing.

Hey Kev, Great video dude. I have the same Rustler 4x4 VXL and have had totally different issues with mine such as the A-arms breaking, bent shock shafts, however my body stays on and I have not had any issues with the stock steering servo or driveshafts, my issues have mostly been caster blocks and steering blocks and rear hub carriers which I upgraded to RPMs, highly recommended. The GTR shocks I would recommend, you will like them much better than the stock Ultra Shocks and you will say to yourself "Wha Happend!!!???" Take care dude🇨🇦✌

Yes you need gtr shocks! Have them on my rustler! Just make sure you get the springs to go with! The gtrs are much bigger! Great video! Keep up the awesome work 👌!

Kevin, try checking your signal wire going to that servo. It may have been severed, or the signal port on that receiver could be bad. I suggest checking either the wire or the channel 1 port on the receiver. You can fix it either by replacing the servo in it, your opening the servo and checking to see if the wire had desoldered itself from the inside of the servo casing.

I have had the same servo and 2 pole vxl 3s system in my slash for 6 years and the motor just went, so im putting it on 6s hobbywing😀😬

kev the steering thing happens when you have your TSM a tiny bit on, i had the same problem with my revo 2.0

That front suspension looks really soft... maybe look into getting those clips that clip onto the shock bodies, im pretty sure thats what did the servo in and Im also pretty sure it would solve your deal with the shock caps popping off

Running traxxas big bore shocks (5862) On mine, constantly had shock tops popping off and lost the spring seats no more issues now.

The rusler is good at getting it up

I put GTR shocks with VG racing springs on mine and it's so much better. Also did the VG racing chassis brace and Tekno M6 driveshafts. It's a beast now! I wonder if a chassis brace would help with the body coming off? I haven't had any problems with mine, but then again, I don't bash like you do either. Looks like you took care of that problem though.

My Traxxas servo lasted 1 year before I stripped the plastic gears.

Kev, would love to see an RC bike. Been thinking of purchasing.

I had the same problem on my rustler 2wd vxl. You have to replace the servo... maybe you should buy one of the new high torque servos from trx..

How durable are the a arms on these I just seen they have a new set of a arms on these supposed to be heavy duty and winter material and they would fit on the slash 4x4 too they have white green orange black colors just not sure if I should stick with rpm or not

STEVO D 313 I’ve heard that flipping the shocks upside down helps for a lot of other rc trucks. It protects the weaker shaft from direct damage and impacts. Not sure if it works on this vehicle though, may be worth a shot
