I do something similar with my everyday journaling because I can’t stand having too much stuff!!! I LOVE the cat makeup bag with all the compartments!!! And I love those zipper pouches you found for ephemera! I just use a makeup bag but you can see everything! Have a safe and fun trip my friend!!! 💕💕💕💕

I use a similar makeup pouch to carry desk supplies to work every day. The flat shape slides easily into my slim laptop bag. It can fit highlighters, safety scissors, memo pad, and pens, so I have the essentials with me. Currently I'm using a pouch from Blue Q brand, which has a cute retro style illustration. I love the colorful cats on your pouch (well, I love all the kitties on your channel)!

Oh yes I’ve seen those Blue Q ones around. They have some fun designs! It’s always such a good feeling to find a pouch that’s both useful and cute ☺️

If you want to carry on scissors, I usually bring a pair of kids’ safety scissors in my art supplies and security has never flagged me for them since the tips are curved not pointy! Safe travels!!
