Hey Guys!! We've been doing a lot more traveling, and plan to do some more in the summer, soooo I thought I would share a video with MY personal packing essentials. =)
Depending on how long I will be gone for, I like to make sure I have EVERYTHING I will need, but I also still try to pack as minimal as possible.. What are some of your packing tips?

♥ Packing for kids-
1) PJ's - Enough for the nights we will be gone, plus one or two extra in case he wets through them.
2) Mix & Match Clothing- a few short sleeved and long sleeve options, and also shorts and pants. I pack so that they can be mixed and matched.
3) Toys, Books, Stuffed Animals- I always make sure I pack his favorite dog 'Spot', his favorite books, and his most loved toys.
4) Shoes - Oliver has been walking for a few months now. I love the Freshly Picked (bit.ly/1GxGcdL) shoes for him, and also the baby Uggs (bit.ly/1BkEM0f) for very cold weather like when we were in Tahoe. Those are the only shoes he doesn't take off his feet. He's not a huge socks/shoe fan. ;)

This is the best packing video I have seen on KZread. Practical and very useful :) I never use the seatbelt in the suitcase but it looks like you fit tons of stuff in that bag.

ahhh, this was so satisfying to watch! You should try compression bags for traveling. They squeeze all the air out of thick articles of clothing and basically turn into notebook sized packets. Revolutionary. You can pack so much stuff and it's especially helpful for baby's clothing!

Hi Rachel, I absolutely love your channel and this video is one of my favourites! I was just wondering if you had ever used packing cubes? They're really useful as your suitcase can be better organised and you can fit a lot more in there! You can get them from pretty much anywhere for really cheap: Amazon, eBay etc. Hope this might be of help xx

One thing my mom always did for my sisters and I as kids when we traveled was to put complete outfits together in gallon sized ziplock bags so she could just pull out the bag and everything was in it: socks, underwear, top, bottom. She would make one for each day of our trip and include one or two extra.
I would love to see how you pack for oliver so that i can also have an idea on how to pack for my son also. We travel a lot and i always end up bringing a lot or i underpack lol👅 love this!

I would love to see a video all about where you get clothes for Oliver. I'm about to have a baby boy myself and want to buy him lots of cute clothes but don't want to spend a fortune. Also if you have an estimate of how many clothes you had for him in each age range that would be super helpful!

Wonderful video as always! Wanted to ask Rachel on how she prepared for becoming a mommy, how did she know the things to do, how to take care of the child. When we went to Block Island this past August we took a suitcase for the baby with her things but sadly we ran out of our formula and had to buy a different brand which made her a little fussy, plus the heat too! But she wasn't too bad luckily.
