Agreed! I first heard of Jensen from his tutorial on how to play Brandi Carlile's "The Story." Fantastic tutorial, and can't wait for more.

Jensen- I just wanted you to know that I am so glad you are here. I’m in a puddle of tears hearing that you had a plan to harm yourself. The musician in you (as Dave Grohl would say!) taught me my first chords and songs and playing guitar has given so much joy. This world is a better place because of you. Thank you for sharing your transition journey- the ups and downs, muscles (rad!), voice changes (also rad- sounds really good!) and loo trips gone wrong (oops!). I hope you find lots of joy and fulfillment along your journey. You are amazing.

I found you originally when you were with Mahalo and appreciated your personality. I'm glad you have been able to bring that same personality with you as you have gone through your journey. I also appreciate you sharing and hopefully helping others either just plain understand, or to help those that are going through the same (or similar) as you have. I know you will continue to inspire, and I will continue to watch and pay attention.

You continue to inspire me, and I always get something from your stories. I came out to family around 7-8 years ago, socially transitioned just over 6 years ago; which turned particularly difficult as I lost my wife suddenly to cancer mid-process of dealing with my work and stuff. I totally get the whole slowly excavating around who you are becoming, I struggled the past 2-3 years (post-surgery) which I think was partly due to finally dealing with the grief that got misplaced at the time, and struggling with a workplace that didn't feel welcoming anymore. Strangely covid and quarantine has allowed me to reconnect with parts of me that I thought I had to leave when I transitioned and I finally feel like I'm coming together as a happy soul again. Have to say I laughed uncontrollably at the STP story as I've had the opposite problem with the same results, especially trying to go country style while out riding my bike.

Wow, I too found you years back on Mahalo and recently decided to give the guitar another go and found you (as your true self) on Fender. I "feared" getting back into the guitar for years, because of age and my naturally stumpy fingers... but then I see YOU displaying unimaginable courage and perserverance and I'm and just blown away! You said at some point that if 'you could do this, anyone can do anything'... well, that put my "fears" of guitar in the proper perspective :). Also, congrats to you on EVERYTHING and thanks for documenting your "lessons" on video, I've learned a lot about both guitar and life!

Jensen, I've followed your career for a while. I think you're a stellar musician, and I'm happy for you; that you were able to do this for yourself, to become the person you've always wanted to be. I hope that things continue to get better and better for you. I'm deeply sorry that you were hurting so badly, and I'm thankful that you're still here. I wish you the best, and I look forward to hearing more music from you; if you decide to keep playing.

You're brave and these videos are helpful to lots of others but even informative to people like me who are not going to be affected by these issues. I would hope the vast majority of guys would have no issues with you but stay safe as there are idiots out there.

Jensen - Great to see the progress you’ve been making! 👏. (I saw part 1 shortly after you posted it). You were a beautiful woman before and now you’re a very handsome man. I remember watching your music videos on mahalo, listening to your life-story later on was so eye-opening.. I found the part of your interview where you talk about being afraid going to the bathroom very sad. Not in a million years did I ever think this was a real issue and you definitely made me think about trans-people (I think that’s the proper term?) and their fears, goals, dreams, etc.. I’ll try to become more observant of others and will watch out for others who might feel vulnerable, to let them know that most guys are good people who want others to feel happy. I might not understand all the aspects of what you and your brothers and sisters have been through but I don’t have to understand it all, I just need to be supporting and understanding. The part of your interview where you talk about last year and how you were only one day away from killing yourself was very frightening to me. I’m glad you’re doing better now and that you’re slowly finding your happiness. Many people are unhappy about their lives in general.. Bad divorces, terminally sick spouses, children who’re addicted to drugs, etc., etc.. Glad you were able to find yourself and to make a change you can be proud of. Kudos to you! I only saw part 1 (shortly after you transitioned) and now part 4. Wasn’t aware of the other two parts but will look for them. My observations of your changes - DEFINITELY a deeper voice. You’re much more muscular, broad shouldered, etc. If there’s only one piece of advice to give you - and that’s gonna sound really stupid - but most of us men don’t have the kind of vocabulary women do. I’m generalizing of course but women can often describe a flower using 20+ adjectives (precious, fragile, full-bodied, fragrant, beautiful, lavender-scented, etc., etc...) Most guys are happy if we can figure out the correct color of the flower (you know I’m right). So if you’re in a room full of regular dudes who do not know of your journey - and you want to blend in - simplify your vocabulary just a little; some of the phraseology you use sounds little too advanced for most regular men. (Yes, I know I’ll get a lot of grief from guys who disagree with me but that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.) I think it’s cool you changed your name to Jensen so we can still search your guitar videos under Jen (there are many of us who love your music). Your new name sounds very Danish to me. ..and just so you know - about 5% of the population of Denmark uses the last name Jensen.. haha.. I bring up the Danish connection for another reason though - I think it’s very fitting you chose a Danish sounding name - the most well known symbol of Copenhagen, Denmark is the little mermaid statue. It’s based on a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen titled “The Little Mermaid” which is about a mermaid who saved a prince from drowning. Later she gives up her voice and her mermaid tail in order to be with the prince. So it’s about her life transformation. Something you too excelled at. ( www.adventitiousviolet.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/the-little-mermaid-copenhagen.jpg ) Additionally, Denmark had word’s very first transgender surgery, man-to-woman. Look up Lilly Elbe from Denmark who had her surgery before WWII. Sorry about all the nonsensical trivia. haha Proud of you Jensen! Stay strong and keep us updated! Wish you the best.

Theres a couple things you could do incase that happens again is aa cloth towel or paper towels and just hold on the wet areas for a minute or 2 and ahould soak up most of the liquid enough to dry on its own. I have spilled stuff on carpets many times and i used either one and dried up with in a couple of minutes.

Jen Jen Jensen. Not opposed or insensitive to anyone else’s feelings or internal emotions. I have my own indifferences. Not sure where your at in the possibilities of afterlife? But do you ever feel that this is just a mere drop in time and we’re to move on where none of this will matter? That perhaps we get to caught up in this realm? I realize, it’s all we know at this point. But just asking?

It’s not about how you feel... if you’re sad or happy- - It’s about his transformation into the human he wants and needs to be. - breasts and round features may be lovely, but they’re skin and they’re fleeting. True beauty comes from a soul which is content. Jensen’s natural light shines from his beautiful soul and it only gets brighter as he becomes more confident in his body and where he is at in his journey of life. It’s incredibly brave of @jensentrani to share this here. -and for all the dummies who don’t get it- there are twice as many who are learning from your story, inspired by it, or saved in the discovery of not being alone. Xo
