👍👍👍 In other words, Dave Canterbury's '5 C's'. Cutting (Knife and Saw) .. Combustion (Ferro Rod) .. Container (Stanley Pot) .. Cover / Cordage (British Army Tarp plus bits). Proven concepts always seem to float to the top 😏. That Terävä is an awesome little beast. I've got the 140cm .. excellent value for money.

@@RedBranchBushcraft The trouble with "Cover" is that the wind and rain can be so severe a bivvy tent is impossible - so another bit of kit should be at hand - I remember once the wind and hail was so bad I had to shelter behind my motor bike
