@@devincutting3198 I do detail the truck often and try to lay down tarps if I’m going to be hauling anything around.. tends to do the trick if it’s going to exceed the rubber mat on the bed👍🏼

The first thing I bought was the rubber mat. I think the divider is next.

My gf just bought a taco and wanted a bed divider,, how easily can that divider be stolen? Are there any locks on it? We're in south fla and i can see that being a target for thieves

Honestly, it’s pretty easy to remove and reattach.. it just uses twist knobs, very similar to what is used on the tiedown rings..

That's why you put the bed cover so they don't see that you have the divider. I wouldn't get the divider unless you get the cover for that reason.

Somebody stole my cargo net for groceries last year. It only costs $25 but still annoying.

Definitely picking up the bed mat! Leaning towards a Leer cap eventually. Not sure if that’ll require a bed stiffener? Best price so far for the TRD lift is $1403 plus tax local pick up.

Not yet… Need to call around. Find out if the TRD Lift Kit can handle the weight of a Leer Cap and possibly a HiLine Series front bumper. If not I might still get the kit just for the blackout heritage grill and sell the lift. Assuming I don’t lose too much money. Kind of silly just to get that grill but I really want the OEM blackout grill.

Sounds good! Thx I called Westcott Designs today to pick their brains. Left a message.. BTW.. Are you happy with your Cali Raised Cat Guards? Was thinking of getting my dad a set for his 18 Access Cab 4x2 for his Bday. Considering a set for myself but I thought I had read somewhere that they don’t fit the manual? Going to do some more homework on those and other brands for my Taco.

@@James-yv8nm so I spoke with my mechanic.. and he said that you would definitely want to have a bed stiffener for your Tacoma.. he said the Bilstein 5100 (TRD lift kit) would be fine but he would definitely recommend adding at least one extra leaf spring… Maybe a three pack leaf set depending on how much weight you plan to have back there.. I like the cat shields.. so far they have been really good additions for the undercarriage of my truck.. I don’t think they are designed for the manuals at least that’s what I recall seeing.. definitely look into that before you pull the trigger just so you don’t have to deal with the back-and-forth of having to return them. hope this helps.🤙🏼
