Cloud master defo brings out the worst in me me ed buddy and cost me a fooking fortune in the swear jar 🤣🤣 choplifter on a cab was awesome buddy, thinking about it I cant ever remember seeing it anywhere else 😮

Fantasy Zone 1 & 2 are great Steve. Not played Scramble Spirits. So much fun with, and nostalgia for, Choplifter. Haha, yep, you were not alone mate. That Action Fighter cover was (is) a magnifying glass. Your number one is mine also. Nice one fella, hope you're well.

I remember the sit down thunderblade mate, used to play it loads in the arcade in Hornsea. Still haven't played submarine attack 🤣. Love fantasy zone. I thought it was a magnifying glass as well mate 🤣😂. Great picks mate, few i haven't played or own... to evilbay immediately 🥰

Great list Steve, so tough to put them in any kind of order and like you said it could change next week Great point about Thunderblade, would have been so much better to just have the overhead levels Would love the Power Strike games myself but I wouldn't pay the prices these days even if I could afford to Think they are the best two shmups on the system though All the best mate 👍

Good list Steve, I always look for R-Type when I’m game hunting. I have a soft spot for TransBot, it might not be the best Shmup but I played it a ton back in the day.

Awesome list of games Steve, i dont think my list would be any different to be honest! All top titles imo too and all thanks to the master system challenge i have actually played them all...ah the challenge, would be nice for that to come back again -it got me enjoying games i had been buying just because they looked cool to have as a collection next to my real passion, the megadrive. Just proves the sega master system is a stunning machine for shooters! Really enjoyed the vid buddy 😉👍

I need to pickup Fantasy Zone, I had it originally on the Megadrive and it is a great shooter, I played the MS version as well and that holds up really well. I think one of the things I like about it (and some other shooters) is you don't just hold down a fire button to continually shoot, the faster you can mash that fire button the more damage you can do against enemies, kills your fingers though!

It could only be r-type for number 1 steve mate such a classic conversion for the master system. Cloud master is great but that difficulty is a nightmare and i love both of the fantasy zone games. I think you practically picked everything I would have apart from i would have had space harrier and after burner in the list. Great picks steve mate 🙂👍

Brilliant video response mate. I came very close to adding choplifter to my list but not action fighter unfortunately. It's not a terrible game but I just don't really enjoy it very much. Don't tell Clint 😂

Some cracking games on the SMS. most ive only learnt about because of the SMS Challenge. the covers just dont do the games justice, and ive passed on a lot previously not expecting how good they will be. not sure why Darius is not number one. your list is obviously faulty. haha R-Type is fantastic tho! a great way to learn the game, but the arcade is where it shines. one day i will 1cc it. lol. magnifier glass fighter was a great surprise. its pretty difficult tho. lol id do a list, but i dont have 10 games. can i have put n putter in my list 🤣🤣 ✌✌

That submarine attack is a really good game.

Never even considered shmups on the master system. Pretty much stick to my ps2. Do have a sega genesis collection for it. Not a lot of shmups on it though

If you get chance to play some of the master system shumps I'd highly recommend them, they are great fun 😄 I think I got that collection on the ps2 but I can't remember what games are on there lol
