Magnolia Parks was the book where the author ripped my heart out, set it out fire, and danced on it! Sobbing at 3am because the last page. Can’t wait to continue the series!

What age do you think would be appropriate to read this book? (Talking about Magnolia Parks)
If you like Sarah J Maas then you will love Brandon Sanderson!!! An absolutely incredible fantasy author. He is a master at creating worlds, characters, and plots. I recommend starting with either The Reckoners series or Mistborn.

hahahah we should be friends
I am so glad I found your channel this year! Even though we do not have similar reading tastes it is fun to hear you talk about the books you are reading. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that you have a fantastic new year.
I really love the way you talk about and review books!
A lot of these are on my TBR for 2023. On January 1st I'll be starting the Addicted Series and I can't wait!
I just got Magnolia Parks in the mail and im SO excited to read!! Its gonna be my first read of 2023. Im about to finish the Inheritance Games (i started 2 months ago but was in a huge slump, im devouring it now though) and Shatter Me is also top of my 2023 priorities tbr list!! My favorite ive read this year (also favorite of all time now) was definitely The Invisible Life of Addie Larue!!! I hope you’ll read it in 2023 :)
Part of Your World and The Inheritance Games series are both in my top 10 of 2022 as well!! Also, i definitely hear you about reading throne of glass. I LOVED ACOTAR and really just need to devote time to reading throne of glass in 2023! Always love your videos!! Merry Christmas!
Thanks Rach! I have loved watching your book vids and found so many great stories from your recommendations. ❤
Omgosh Yes to the Magnolia Parks universe! I read the first 2 books thus far and I’m addicted now, the characters are flawed but the books are so entertaining and I can’t stop reading. Sooo good. I gave them both 5 stars can’t wait to read the rest of the series! I also love your content, the wedding and book stuff is so much appreciated
I’ve read so many of your recommendations this year including ACOTAR, which I absolutely loved and I’ve already got a bunch of my friends addicted 😂 Definitely in my top 5 for the year(probably my no.1) Just finished reading the first indigo ridge book - loved that it had a crime plot alongside the romance. Magnolia parks is on my wish List! Merry Christmas 🎄
The Magnolia Parks Universe is like the Colleen Hoover books for me. I love reading them but I agree with all the criticism that it gets. So I don’t know whats wrong with me. 🤣🤣
You are one of the biggest reasons I’ve read so much this year (read 50 books, last year I read maybe 4). It seriously has brought me so much joy and happiness into my life and I’m so excited for all your book content this upcoming year!! 🤍🤍
My top top fav’s this year: Rock Paper Scissors, Love and Other Words, Local Woman Missing, and The Good Girls Guide to Murder trilogy!!
currently reading the acotar series, very keen to see what all the hype is about! i think i’ll have to give magnolia parks a read too!
I just got the first book of the ACOTAR series so I am excited for that. I do want to read the Magnolia Parks series next year!
I looove hearing you talk about books 💫
I love your top 10 books! Im planning on reading a lot of the ones youve mentioned, next year, specially sarah j mass books and shatter me! My top 10 are... 1. The infernal devices series (i think you would love this series) 2. Daisy jones and the six 3. The mortal instruments series 4. It ends with us 5. Twilight series 6. Harry potter series 7. Cruel prince series 8. Jane eyre 9. Midnight library 10. The hobbit
You are so precious. Thank you for all your recommendations!! ❤
So glad I found this video *adds every book to wish list*
I just finished Daisy Haites the Great Undoing and it was SO GOOD!!Literally obsessed w this series too😆❤️
I’ve never been so early😅😅😅 this comes just in time, I needed some book recommendations!! Love from Spain❤❤
I read a new favorite this year: Winterwood by: Shea Ernshaw . Winterwood had everything that I look for in a book...spooky, haunted forest, water, mysterious disappearance. I usually do not care for romance in a book, but this one was done subtly, so naturally, and believable that I ended up emotional about the characters. It ended so beautifully, and the descriptions of the forest, and winter were some of the most gorgeous writings that I have ever seen, the definition of atmospheric 10/10.
Okay, two huge recommendations by me: The Dance of Thieves duology by Mary E. Pearson is my all-time favorite fantasy series and in my top books of all time. My favorite book from this year was The Paris Secret by Natasha Lester. It is a hard-hitter of a book but an absolute masterpiece and made me so grateful for life and our war heroes.

YES DANCE OF THIEVES OMG
Cleopatra and Frankenstein was one of my favorite books of the year, and I would love to hear your thoughts on it!
yesss i have such a special place for sjm books😭😭💛
Fav books of year, all because of your recommendations 👏 - Malibu Rising, Seven Husbands, Heart Bones and Swear On This Life. I don't think that i will ever read Fantasy Books (i just know that they would not be my vibe) BUT in saying that, this year i have discovered that i have an interest in Thriller/Mystery books.. I don't like scary movies at all because of the anticipation of jump scares that you get from the music etc... and obviously when you are reading a book yourself, there are no jump scares but i freaking love the weird storylines. 💖
If you want a Fantasy that’s gonna draw you in like a sarah j maas book, then i highly recommend The Bone shard Daughter by Andrea Steward! It’s incredibly well crafted and makes you wanna reread every Chapter immediately after finishing it. The foreshadowing and the plottwists are incredible. I would really love for you to red this ❤

The first book was good, the second book I pushed through it, but barely. The third book is out, but if I read it, it will be a library book.
My favourite book of the year was one true loves! Has set me on a TJR reading journey read after I do which was also great now on to forever interrupted
I adoreee the Magnolia Parks Universe!! As of today, knowing your top 2 books (or series) are what they are, whatever you recommend I will check it out!!😍♥️
This video was so good😄. My favorite book of the year is Where the Crawdads Sing🤩😁. I loved everything about the book. Also, Everything Everything is a close 2nd; this book was great and I loved it so much!❤️
I was so excited for this video because no other youtuber has similar book taste to me😭! I swear we love all of the same books!! Have you read the YA fantasy Red Queen series?? Its pretty old but I read it for the first time this year and it was definitely a 5 star series for me!
you had me at chuck and Blair
ACOTAR is most definitely my favorite of the year, but I think another one that has stuck with me is Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune. Highly recommend
I only read 3 books this year (just getting out of a big reading slump hahah) - and one I think you’d also really enjoy- is Dance Of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson. It’s got a little bit of everything in it, but the romance definitely felt pretty central. It also has a lot of emphasis on family relationships and friendships too, and lots of found family. The only reason I err on giving it 5/5 stars is bc I felt like parts of the plot relied a little too much on poor/no communication, which is a huge pet peeve for me. But I also don’t typically enjoy romance (and often actively avoid it) but I actually really enjoyed the romance in this one.
Magnolia Parks was my favorite series of the year too!! I even got a tattoo for it. 🥰 Second place was the Cruel Prince series!
i'm almost done reading the final gambit now! :)
Girl I love your videos! Your so happy and fun! Do you have any recommendations for historical fiction books or mysteries? I love fantasy but i havnt been into it much lately so Iv'e been trying to find more of those kind of books.
Magnolia parks was amazing! I’m excited to read the rest of the series! I was just wondering what order you would suggest reading the remainder of the magnolia parks/daisy haites series in? 💜 merry Xmas!
Can you make a video of your 2023 tbr? I want any excuse so watch your videos😅❤
Excellent video Rachel!
My favorite books this year were Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan A Love Letter to Whiskey by Kandi Steiner Magnolia Parks by Jessa Hastings Swear on this Life by Renée Carlino Seven Days in June by Tia Williams
my favorite book was far from the tree by Robin Benway. It`s about 3 siblings who all lived in different foster homes growing up and who are now trying to find each other and built a sibling relationship. Kind of found family but actual family
My favourite book of the year was by far Magnolia Parks universe!! Can’t wait to get my hands on daisy 2
my favourite book i read this year was caraval such an amazing fantasy series!
YES!! Throne of glass!!!
theres a tv show based on dolly aldertons book!!! you should give it a watch!!
I clicked so fast on your video notification 😂 i love your videos ❤️
I loved the shadow & bone trilogy and then, after watching the show I wanted to start the six of crows duopoly but I found the beginning a bit slow and stopped reading it after a few pages. I really want to give it another go this year as I hear so many good things!

and I kind of love how you didn't even mention a CoHo book haha
I think it's on your tbr but you gotta read "The Summer of Broken Rules"! It's truly phenomenal
I just started reading ACOTAR and love it.
I loved watching this! :) Also glad that the first book portrays that you don't have to have your life figured out by a certain age...cos I definelty don't and I'm 34!! lol
I'm in the middle of ACOTAR and LOVE it!! I have the throne of glass series but am scared to start because of the reading order. Did you start with Assassins Blade or Throne of Glass?
if you liked magnolia parks -you should watch 'made in chelsea' -it's an english reality tv show n gives the same vibe
My favorite book this year was Where the Crawdads Sing (but only if you watch the movie immediately after finishing.)
I really wanted to enjoy the inheritance games trilogy but DNF’d the first book about 1/3 the way in 😢 maybe I’ll give it another try this year!
Have you read the after series? That’s one of my all time faves and reminds me a bit of magnolia parks because of the toxic relationship that you’re just obsessed with! (I haven’t seen the after movies because I feel like it’ll ruin the books for me lol)
I was sooo surprised the cruel prince wasn’t in the actual top 10 and was just an honorable mention🤣
My top recommendation is It happened one summer and Hook, line & sinker (Bellinger sisters duology) if you haven’t read them yet!
I tried so hard with Magnolia Parks. I made it about 1/3 through and then set aside, and I just can’t bring myself to return. It feels like torture to go back to it.
If you are looking for a good serie with an amazing found family, i recommend the BTU Alumni serie by Alley Ciz!
I love magnolia parks! I started reading it based on your recommendation. Some of my five star reads this year were Lessons in Chemistry, Anxious People and Carrie Soto is Back 😊
my favorite of the year was definitely My Policeman, that book literally made me sob multiple times after i finished it, it was so heartbreaking
my favourite book of the year was malibu rising by TJR it is amazing
Once you start entering deep into adult fantasy novels, the foreshadowing, world building and subplots will blow your mind. We love SJM's characters because she motivates each of them and gives each a history, instead of leaving them two dimensional like other YA fantasy authors....
I am reading The Assassin’s Blade before reading Throne of Glass first… I just got into the series…
Would love to see you review the Shiver Trilogy by Maggie Stiefvater!
Try Home by Larissa Behrendt. Amazing story followingan Australian family and aboriginal history. She has blown my mind
Please please please read the all souls trilogy!! Would love to see your opinion it's been my favourite fantasy series for years
I’m so obsessed with Blair and chuck in gossip girl now and now I want to read magnolia parks
Ok I’m convinced this is the year I read Magnolia Parks
Nice books ! :)
Have you read Accidentally Amy by Lynn Painter? It was so, so funny. My fave was Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater which I think you could really enjoy!
My fav reads are Reminders of him by Colleen hover It start with us by Colleen hover
I really like fleur Ferris
You need to read these books: 1) The Home Duet Series by Nikki Lamers 2) A Fisherman's Promise by Olivia Snow 3) No Proof and Beyond the Widow's Peak by Ashley McConnel (I don't know if I butchered her name) 4) Blackout Trail by Linda Naughton 5) Beneath The Maize by Stephen Goldhahn 6) AFTER TWILIGHT by M. KNIGHT ROZE 7) Conjuring the Witch by Jessica Leonard 8) A Sorrow Called Sarah by Charlotte Roddy 9) Keep Your Friends Close by Niki Keith 10) Enter the Darkness by Sarah Budd I believe you haven't heard of any of those but I swear, you will enjoy them all. 4 & 5 are long books. 1 is 2 books in the series. Please give these books a chance! :D
I can't find magnolia parks on audible or in my local library. Where did you get it? amazon?
i want to read the Magnolia parks books so badddd but they're expensiveeee!! the way you talk about them is so wonderful that i'll read them in 2023 FOR. SURE!! cannot wait for your 2023 videos! have a happy and joyful end of the year
I loved 2022
As a married girl with an amazing husband I couldn’t even get to half way of magnolia parks. The toxicity of that relationship .. oh my 😅
9:18 sounds a lot like emily henry's books!
Have you read any Agatha Christie books if not I highly recommend you do and one of my favorite books of 2022 was death on the Nile!❤️
Will you also film 2023 wrap up?
carrie soto🥺
hi! where do you listen to audiobooks??
justice for shadow & bone😤😤😤 alina and mel deserve better
wild guess but are you obsessed with book series or something? Lol 🫶🏼💫
Magnolia Parks Universe is my favourite books of this year. I LOVE THEM and think about them everyday. Jessa is incredible!!!!
I love the Magnolia Parks universe books! As toxic as they are, they are somehow comfort reads for me. Not sure what that’s says about me, but I’m not ashamed! :)
I would love to send you a copy of my book All I Ever Wanted to read. I would love your feedback!
I loved Verity by Colleen Hoover. It opened the door to me reading more psychological thrillers!
I always screenshot every book recommendation you make that pulls my interest. I probably have over 30 screenshots 🤣🫶🏼
I was 100% sure i would HATE Magnolia Parks after earing everyone talk about how toxic it was but you and Sara Carrolli convinced me and now i’m obsessed!!!!! I can’t read anything else right now cause i have to know what’s happening next🤯🤍
My favorite book of the year was city of girls! I highly recommend it!
