I just finished Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson and I am in LOVE with his writing

your thoughts on Alone With you in the Ether were so insightful. When I read the book I felt the same way but didn’t know how to put that feeling into words. It was fascinating, I also didn’t quite connect to the characters fully but it was such a mind boggling journey. And yes I think you have to try it out to know if you would like it . xx

I love this vlog so much! Your facial expressions when reading Chain of Thorns gave me flashbacks to probably my own expressions when I was reading it back in March!! Also, if you are attached to the TLH characters, you can pick up the short story collections coz they are in about a couple of them! The Shadowhunter world is not yet over, as Cassie will be releasing some new stories in the coming years!! Adore youuu Rachel!! ❤❤

I'm in a bit of a slump at the moment so watching all the reading vlogs for some inspiration! Outside of the USA you can only get Libby on a kobo not kindle - it was the deciding factor for me (in NZ) for what e-reader to get! One option though which I've done for some ARCs and I think would also work for Libby, is to get the book as an epub or pdf and use Adobe Digital Editions to transfer it to your kindle! There are heaps of articles on how to do it and should work for kindle too!

You can get epub onto kindle now!

You can’t get library books on your kindle but if you have a kobo it has overdrive built in which is the same app as Libby so if you borrow a book on your phone it’ll automatically load onto a kobo

my sister lives in brisbane and she said her local library has books she can borrow on libby!

Hi Rachel!! to read books from libby on my kindle i use the libby app on my phone to download onto my kindle app on my phone. hope this helps!

If you get a free library card from US public libraries, like Chicago Public Library, then you can use that digital card to borrow books on Libby to read on your kindle (Libby lets you add multiple library cards) ☺️ It sounds fake but is completely legal!! But I understand why some people might not want to do this 💗

I didn’t plan on reading the last hours triology but her last shadowhunters trilogy is supposed to have something to do with the last hours. I don’t love the historical books but I can listen to them with no problems so that’s probably going to be the route I go!

I’ve been reading through Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunter world for the last 12 years… waiting for books over the years has been torture!! I’m at 43% of Chain of Thorns and I’m tempted to DNF. Her Last Hour series is my least favourite and I think it’s cause there’s SO MANY characters and trying to keep them straight is difficult. It was cool to see your reaction to the end though!! Maybe I’ll have to push through just to see what happens! 😂

You 100% cannot get Libby books on your Kindle in Australia, your library would confirm. You can for some other eReaders such as Kobo. (As an Aussie with a Kindle I feel your pain!) x

Hey Rachel you are like the only booktuber i watch, absolutely love your videos. But I wanted to maybe help you with the whole libby on your kindle situation. So I have a kobo reader but I assume its quite similar, anyways what I do is i download the ebook on my computer (Im using a swedish library so I think australian is defiantly going to work the same) anyways so what you have to do is get adobe digital editions on your computer and that way you can put your downloaded ebooks from the library and transfer them on to your ereader. Hope that made sense hahh

Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute is kind of giving If He Was With Me without the sadness and with trips and group activities. Plus Finny (If He Had Been With Me main-ish lover) isn't as rude or blunt(?) as HS+UC main lover is. At least the relationship between the couples. Both couples's moms are best friends so they were, then they grew apart (ik this book has a kind of argument). Does that make sense?

One of the way you can read is -city of bones (mortal instruments 1) - city of ash (mi 2) -city of glass (mi 3) Then you continue with the infernal devices - clockwork angel - clockwork prince - clockwork princess Then you finish the mortal instruments with books 4 5 6 (city of…) Then you read the dark artifices - lady midnight - lord of shadows - queen of air and darkness And then you move onto the last hours with - chain of gold - chain of iron - chain of thorns Hope this helps ( also there are other ways to read them and a bunch of short story collections you can also read )
