Hi there, Liron here! And in today's vid I go over my top 10 favorite paints, and why I love them!
I don't get to science-y. I have a very simplistic approach to paint and painting, which is why I also mention paints these are interchangeable with.
The way I approach colors is - I find good colors I like and know how to mix well, that also have most of the good properties of watercolor (good lightfastness, transparency etc.).
I hope you enjoy this one!

Very interesting. I'm very primary based, as well. I have several reds, yellows and blues--warm and cool. I mix my own greens from my yellows and blues, and my Payne's Gray is a bluish neutral. I also have Burnt Umber, which I mix with Ultramarine to make black. It works well for me. I like the greys I get with Cobalt Blue and Burnt Sienna. Anyway, enough about me. Thank you for a great video, Liron, that will be a great help to beginners, for sure. :)

Have you ever produced a video indicating color location on the palette? I have been searching but have not found one. Or at least your thinking on the subject.

Thanks, Liron! This is a fabulous basic palette. So would you use the Phthalo blue and French Ultramarine blue/ mixes in the same painting? Or would you use only one of either blue?

Many times I would use them both in the same painting! (: If both help me achieve the temperatures I want in different places, I will use them all! But sometimes, just out of pure logistical need or laziness - I’ll use 3 only (one primary of each).
