Hi there, Liron here! And in today's vid I go over my top 10 favorite paints, and why I love them!
I don't get to science-y. I have a very simplistic approach to paint and painting, which is why I also mention paints these are interchangeable with.
The way I approach colors is - I find good colors I like and know how to mix well, that also have most of the good properties of watercolor (good lightfastness, transparency etc.).
I hope you enjoy this one!

You are so generous with your knowledge Liron! Thanks...
Very interesting. I'm very primary based, as well. I have several reds, yellows and blues--warm and cool. I mix my own greens from my yellows and blues, and my Payne's Gray is a bluish neutral. I also have Burnt Umber, which I mix with Ultramarine to make black. It works well for me. I like the greys I get with Cobalt Blue and Burnt Sienna. Anyway, enough about me. Thank you for a great video, Liron, that will be a great help to beginners, for sure. :)

Very helpful! Thank u for the video! I was wondering if you would post a video on gouache in the future? I would love to hear your thoughts on it compared with your watercolor experience - I really enjoy your videos! ☺️
Thank you for being generous.
This was really fun for me. Primary colors.
Thank you!!!
Nice! Thank you!❤
Thanks so much for the helpful info! I just followed Michael Reardon on IG - wow! Beautiful work! (I've followed you for a while!) TFS!!
What about using Burnt Sienna from Winsor & Newton? it appears more red I believe.
I am learning from watching your videos. Thank you.
Have you ever produced a video indicating color location on the palette? I have been searching but have not found one. Or at least your thinking on the subject.
Thanks, Liron! This is a fabulous basic palette. If any of your viewers are interested in help to decide on which brand of certain colors, they might enjoy looking at @drotokano ‘s Colossal Color Showdown series. She specializes in pigments and the series is a great way to get a sense of the characteristics of different brands. Her YT channel is here: kzread.info/dron/H9e6JpRMtxsNraIhoYvTOA.html 🎨🖌👍
its strange i am putting a video together a how to make a 12 set of colours video and the vast majority of the colours i have picked is the same as your colour picks, great video thanks
I would have expected a neutral, pure and transparent yellow - (talking like I was a pro - infact only started 6 month ago ;-D )
Very interesting and helpful! You mentioned Michael Riordan, I wanted to take a look at his site... how do you spell his name ?

Michael Reardon 😊🙏🏼
How do you like Cadmium-Free watercolor paints . How safe are these paints.
So would you use the Phthalo blue and French Ultramarine blue/ mixes in the same painting? Or would you use only one of either blue?

Many times I would use them both in the same painting! (: If both help me achieve the temperatures I want in different places, I will use them all! But sometimes, just out of pure logistical need or laziness - I’ll use 3 only (one primary of each).
