Playmates figures will look like their Cobra Kai and Stranger Things ones, cheap plastic and accessories. Super7 is probably the closest we'll have to Lightning anymore.

Yeah I agree 100%. As far as Super 7 the prices are pretty much double of the LC and articulation leaves a lot to be desired and I think they’re primarily only doing MMPR

@@foodfashionandfigures Yeah, the villains are the best ones. I hate the Rangers goofy civilian faces, but otherwise the price doubles for Mezco or Threezero.

I don't know about anyone else, but I've seen a lot of Playmate action figures either on clearance or at discount stores like Ross and Ollies. All of the TMNT Playmate figures have been seen at Ross at prices between $6.99 and $12.99. Hasbro stated they are allowing Playmates to make a kid focused action figure line. My question is how can they expect it to be successful when today's kids aren't interested in Power Rangers. Hasbro must've forgotten that the majority of their Power Rangers fan are adults, who grew up watching the Power Rangers on TV during the kids entertainment lineup. You didn't even need cable to tune in and watch Power Rangers on Fox. Hasbro needs to find a way to make Power Rangers mainstream into kids interest before trying to make new figures under a different line. More kids today like Paw Patrol more than Power Rangers.

I couldn’t have said it better myself and I couldn’t agree more. Even the fan base that grew up watching the newer seasons are more or less adults in their own right so yeah they could still cater to both kids and have a separate line for adults and collectors
