Some people grow up 'in the streets' and everyone's experiences and perspectives aren't yours... No one is keeping anyone down with statements about being from the streets, especially not business man, rapper, millionaire Camron or millionaire Stephen A Smith... They're obviously proud of the lived experiences that they evolved from because these experiences have contributed to they have grown to become. You don't have to approve of it or understand it for it to be their truth or for others to understand it as positive rather than negative.

In this world too many people will compromise who they are for fame, fortune and money. CNN should have done there homework and realize this was a man who is not gonna change who he is because he's in front of a camera, he is still gonna be his raw authentic self. For those who say why did he accept the interview, if you know Cam you know this, Cam knows how to get his chips and uses every opportunity to his advantage. I knew it as soon as I laid eyes on him, there's a love glow all around him and yet diddy gets more attention for doing bad. How many people really know what he's doing for people, and he doesn't want any attention for it. He's just doing what he feels is the right thing for a human being to do, he's amazing ❤.
I’m from Harlem too but I know how to be PROFESSIONAL! Not everybody from Harlem is like him. He has reached the amount of success where he feels like he can go on an international platform tell a black woman (who has really really worked hard for where she’s at whether I agree with it or not) he’s getting cheeks. Then act like he doesn’t know why he’s there. He owes Abby an apology. But he’s not going to give it because he’s a rEaL oNe. This is a classic example of climbing a ladder and pulling it up from under you because as much as he went on his podcast the next day crying about all of his accomplishments he didn’t mention how unprofessional he was to be on. if you’re standing on business then standing on business and don’t go on the show. Cam isn’t a typical part of the 13% he’s created an opportunity for himself to be able to do something I wish we all could actually do CAM doesn’t have to code switch he’s always unapologetically himself. I think those that work in standard or corporate world may come to resent those that have created avenues for themselves to be this way. I believe Stephen A has always been authentically himself within the boundaries of the “Mouse” at Disney and we should appreciate that! Him and Stewart Scott showed us ourselves in a corporate light.
