Wow! You going through your list, I have anxiety now. I wish you the best of luck. Sometimes less is better...but you do what your gut is telling you. After I learned how to get through labor with my last birth oh my goodness that is so powerful and honestly a little addicting. If it weren't for having to raise another baby, I would do it 10 more times. Haha. Prays for you and your little family for a wonderful new edition.

That's good that you're going to keep up with your chiropractic appointments. That's one thing I did differently with my 3rd child and it really made my labor night and day different I think. It went so much more smoothly and it was lightning fast! I also ate a lot of dates too so maybe that helped. Hoping you have a safe, healthy, and enjoyable labor!

As a Midwife and a fellow mom to a 2 year old…YES you need a plan for Cosmo for your labour. I totally get wanting to include him (I would feel the same). I think having a fail-proof plan where someone can watch him and/or take him out of the house is super critical. I’ve seen soooooo many women’s labours stall/slow because they were mentally occupied with thinking about their other child

Absolutely. Mother needs to be able to totally focus on birth, and that’s just very hard with a toddler around, requiring your attention.

I don't agree. I have 3 kids and birth the last two at home with just my husband. The kids were both under the age of 3. I felt so much better when I saw them being natural around me. My oldest son would cheere me on and let me have space whenever needed to go within, it was so beautiful.

@@flybabyskybaby I think having older kids part of the birth experience is wonderful and I've seen it work dozens of times. What I am saying is that having a plan in place in the event that a.) the labouring mom changes her mind about having her child present b.) the child decides they dont want to be present etc is really crucial. It's fine to have the plan and then have the child remain present. Not having a plan and an exit-strategy is the concern here. :)

@@flybabyskybabyyour birth experience sounds so lovely! Thank you for sharing ❤I love this conversation bc it shows how children and mamas experience a spectrum of normal. Children are different and will handle baby coming differently. Having a plan to meet your child where they are sounds like a respectful and smart idea, just in case. Also love them being there if it feels good for them and mama!

Partially because of how close we are in our pregnancy journeys (I’m due May 11th) I have been LOVING your content lately. this is my first and I’m a tiny bit mentally in denial about the whole thing I think. Seeing this this morning made me realize.. wow I’m actually pregnant… not just a little bit pregnant… and in my third trimester! Amazing and wonderful and so exciting. Congratulations to us both, so excited to watch your journey as I experience mine.

sometimes Hannah gives me ADHD vibes but in a good way though. I know not everybody has it. You can have some traits because it's just who you are and not necessary have ADHD. It's still a spectrum. But her being a creative and bubbly person with always a lot on her mind and her saying that she is an energetic, vibrant but also unorganized person who likes to make lists just to feel in control, her always being active either mentally or physically, her talking fast and jumping from topic to topic and her making the "oh look a bird" while twirling her hair gives me the image of her actually being an ADHD person who happened to grow up in a beneficial environment. It shows that ADHD does not have to be a disability. But it's just me mind wandering. Don't take it too seriously :) She also might be a very mindful and optimistic person who has found her way and learned to live her best life. It's inspiring

Women should know NOT having sex during pregnancy is totally okay and normal. Most women don’t like it when they are having a second or third because the belly is lower and you can literally feel the babies little head between your legs somewhere between 6-9 months. You are full. That’s it. Its not fun, it’s unnecessary. If not having sex for a while ruins a good relationship, it’s not a good relationship.
