Recently I’ve been trying to think about the game rather than just be upset over dying or an inter. If jung dies to my lane I’m not flaming I just think “fuck it what do I need to do to win game now?” And my win rate has definitely improved a bunch

I was kinda sad about Kindred. Junglers are so mentality destroyed, getting blamed probably 90% of their games that even tho she didn't say anything, she pinged Asol just to "follow" bot toxic mentality, probably to escape blame herself.

Even before double buffs, Malz has prio over Asol. And this one particularly played bad by not trying to silence Pekin when he went for Q on canons, it can put Asol under tower everytime that way. Malz probably didn't know that his champ shits on Asol, so free farm = free win.

Even without needing the gold, asol always gets priority over farm because it scales his stardust. It's like Nasus - everyone gives Nasus the farm.

Not the whole team: The Malph seemed to know what's up and the serph pretty wisely kept out of it for the most part. It was just just the ADC being the stereotypical team dumbass and Kindred (initially) going with it for some reason.

The roaming ability was old Sol. For the new one you gotta get a really good angle and a team that can cc, else you are doing nothing early on. Better to stay mid and keep pushing and stacking

they made it so new Asol can still do the roaming play but only at lvl 6 with the ultimate stun old Asol had his Q to combo with the roaming E, so it was way better pre lvl 6

Tbh, even level 6 it's hard to find a matchup in which you have enough pressure to roam. Yes Asol can one shot waves, put if midlaners are letting you doing so, they are playing their lane wrong, because most of them out trade you (yes even Malz).

In any case, reworked Asol is quite weak early so even then roaming is best left for skirmishes in river... or just not roam until you have enough stacks to shove waves. Asol is just not an early game champion, and few people can get that over their head.

Got flamed for a similar thing in an asol game today. People still don't realise that after the rework asol is not a good early roamer anymore. Pre-rework his flight was very high range and was great for roaming - but now it starts very short and scales with his passive.

malz vs asol looks interesting. right idea in trying to get other lanes ahead considering how you counter his voidlings and outscale

That's really not that good of a matchup, this Malz played pretty bad. I won't timestamp every Q he did, but he did them wrong. And didn't poke enough with autos/E. Pekin was barely reaching an equal state of lane every wave. Now imagine how often he'd be under tower if Malz was playing well by silencing him right after he pressed E+Q for canon? That would be a nuisance to his lane pressure, stacking and csing. But with a Malz not playing smart/aggro, yes Asol is free farm, -> free win.

The fact that jinx was talking so much shit ,whilst clearly not understanding what a sol does, all game yet manages to miss the easiest R ever starting at 24:24) made me want to cry of laughter

I stubbed my toe this morning and I am convinced it's Asol's fault for not rotating. >:(

whats so frustrating is how common people like the jinx player are in ranked games and they never get punished for it

Lol, there was nothing about those bot deaths that was Pekin's fault. All three times the support and ad overextended chasing the Hecarim. And the Kindred was playing like silver, so her thinking everything is Pekin's fault is about on par.

I never understood why people ever feel the need to tell people to kill themselves. I'd like to personally thank Jinx for making me realize why.

I feel like so many people who complain about toxic players don't realize they're toxic themselves. The Jinx player "Poop Off" is a clear example of a toxic player

Played Aurelion Sol kinda hard to play with teammates that overextend and do not know I do not do anything till I get a decent amount of stacks or till im lvl 6.

Pekin almost never pinging missing is so frustrating. Don’t get me wrong, the jinx & sera were horribly toxic and obviously stupid as fuck, but Pekin not pinging didn’t help and gave them more of an excuse to flame him

Like this malz is typical malz player (like i once was 😂) not thinking about matchup and just EW shove. The play would’ve definitely been Q first and deny you your Q. I was an asol user b4 the rework and i still like his new playstyle but i got very fortunate. Many champs i play are annoying to play against as Asol. Syndra with her QE + mana refund and asol and syndra E being the same non scaling cooldown. Swain with his E pull or a guaranteed W landing. Malz with his Q silence and taliyah with her rock stuns roaming and equal wave clear once you get mythic.
