I am not a fan of summer either. I hate being hot. Thankfully it doesn't get crazy hot in Michigan very often. I've had cloth Maryjanes on my wishlist too, but I don't know how they would look on me. I basically wear dresses 90% of the time in the summer. I don't like what I look like in shorts, so dresses are the next best (better in my opinion) option for staying cool and looking cute. For times when I can't wear dresses, flowy pants are my next choice. I just thrifted some really awesome flowy, fun printed pants that I can't wait to style!

I feel like you just looked in a crystal ball and saw my life just now. Literally, everything resonates. Weird hair growth phase and all. Cute but comfy and 100% authentic to my intrinsic style is the goal. ❤

I can relate! I’m not a summer weather person, at all! I run warm. Also, I’m not trendy. I just want the weird vintage stuff and whatever makes me happy, comfy and cool.i just didn’t have a name for it. I’d love to have the time and energy for Pinterest/being more creative. I’m looking for a new job because I think that’s a big part of it. I love the hair, scarf inspiration, but it’s so funny that you said your hair is really thick and heavy and that you chopped it off recently I was hot the day I went to get my haircut and had her cut it significantly shorter and I already have a pixie cut. I also need to switch out my summer/winter and really go through an organizing clear out. thank you for all the inspirations and ideas!
