That was a fun video, Leslie. I like your choices, but for my age, over 65, I prefer tees. I need a little cap sleeve, or even a bit longer sleeve. I just finished Drops Halo tee. It turned out pretty good, for my first. Happy knitting!

so fun, I love planning and dreaming about future knits. For your v-neck tank, I would highly recommend the Tolsta Tank by Rebecca Clow (creabea). I got to test knit the v-neck cami version in fingering weight, and I absolutely love the fit. And it's such a versatile pattern - size inclusive, 3 different styles (v-neck, round neck, square neck), two gauge options (fingering & dk), and options for bust shaping! Definitely worth checking out!

I am currently working on Caidree's Avani Shirt V-neck in Knitting for Olive Pure Silk and I am really enjoying it!

I just bought a bunch of those tanks a few weeks ago. Ordered one and after I got it I immediately ordered more. It would be awesome to have a knit version. Fully relate to your inspo. The Tip Top Tank by Emily Bolduan (free pattern!) and the Tolsta Tank Cami (different gauge or neckline options) would be my vneck tank recommendations.

With the mini mock neck tank, the back is supposed to be shorter than the front. I also raised mine up and added bust increases after the sleeve split. You might find that your back panel works better than you expected, especially if you don’t want your bra showing. Adding on: I’m on my second. Only problem with the first is I was too stubborn to crack into a third skein to make mine longer.

Your tank design is beautiful!! (I’ve seen the updates from insta and it’s amazing) I think I might try the mini mock neck tank, it looks good on so many people and the gauge surprisingly doesn’t scare me too much!

Have you looked into the Knit Girl Summer top by Joan Ho for your fingering weight tank top? I think that one's at a smaller gauge. I made it a few years ago and don't really remember the details, but I think it would be pretty easy to customize.

@@knitcalifornia also I forgot to mention, I have a suggestion for your fingerings weight V neck camisole! It's the Tolsta Tank by the crea bea, that's just been released😍 It's a huge, beautiful pattern with tons of options, I haven't made it yet but I plan to!

Did you find the Line yarn at Apricot Yarn? I think it would be great to try. But the purple tank kit sounds like you might cast it on first. So pretty.
