Easy dresses & high waisted shorts

I’d add a Panama hat and a straw bag. Everything looks summery if you wear those as well.

A t-shirt dress is so you!! You rock it well! One of my favorite summer staples is a skort. It looks like I tried harder and put effort into my look. I love that there's shorts underneath so I'm never uncomfortable ever! I also noticed people respond more positively to me when I wear them too.

Thanks for the video, Christina! To me, this is indeed the perfect summer wardrobe. I live in a colder climate too, so summer is a bit of my "fantasy season," meaning that it's my favorite season to shop for and it gets me the most inspired (because I can finally go out without a puffer jacket and in white sneakers). The downside to this is that I have way more summer clothers than I actually need, and not even half of those clothes can be worn in any other season (for example, I don't wear dresses in autumn, winter and spring because it's too cold for that (at least for me) where I live, none of my light trousers go well with my autumn and winter boots, all of my T-shirts and shirts are too cold to wear in autumn and winter even under a puffer jacket... You see the picture). So I'm learning how to minimize my closet, and your channel is a big help. Thanks for making this type of content for all the wannabe minimalists out there 😄

I got the exact same pair of Birkenstocks this summer, also my first and they look so cool!

Thank you for sharing your wardrobe with us and some tips! I live in North Idaho USA where we go from cold and rainy to hot pretty quickly so without the adaptation, I definitely need the coolest wardrobe possible, pun intended 🤭. I’m not sure what’s going on with organic basics? Their site seems to be completely down and they have gone silent. A Small Wardrobe/Create Authentic Style just talked about this in her latest video. I personally don’t wear black anymore, I haven’t since spring so across to seasons now, I don’t even miss it! I just looked so drained and my hair always looked brassy even right after getting it toned, over black.! I may incorporate it again for the fall and winter but for now, I’m really enjoying lighter neutrals and mid tones. I am amazed that you are just now getting on the Birkenstock train! For a little while, I refused to wear them because that’s what everyone else wore, but I couldn’t resist too long either. I now have the anthracite metallic arizonas, soft footbed, and they are amazing! Since wearing their professional clog at work in the hospital for the last seven months, I just can’t go back to wearing non-supportive footwear. The challenge with that now is finding more dainty shoe styles that are still supportive. I did find a pair of vintage Dr. Martin sandals in the perfect brown color in excellent condition this summer for really cheap and I am thrilled. They have been a staple for me this summer to add some height because they are platform, without being a heel. Happy remainder of the summer to you Christina!

I am not a Summer person at all and I live in Australia! Your styling tips are really great. I will be living in linen or cotton this Summer and especially short sets. I also like a simple sundress in black or white. Like you I only wear man made fibres.

Love your content. You are respectful of choice in your suggestions. Just wanted to point out that black and white suit you because of the contrast of your light skin and dark hair. It really suits you. Many choose the same formula without realizing that light or mid tones ( lower contrast) suit them better. It took me a long time to figure this out for myself!! I refer to my summers as “Hades” 🥵🌵 and I’m already looking for cooler bottoms. I like a thinner type fabric chino in a green/medium brown/neutral that I can use a shirt or T with. Sandals, sandals, & sandals and yes I love Birks too. ❤😊

Haven’t even watched the video yet and i literally just placed an order for the pasties u recommended… thank u!! I’ve literally been dying for quality pasties for a HOT MIN cuz im a 36DD and rarely wear bras anymore so the regular Amazon pasties just don’t cut it 😭 i don’t always mind being a little obvious but sometimes u do need them, and I’ve been on the hunt but it’s been surprisingly hard to find recommendations and I’m not about to drop $25 just to test out some pasties

Love your wardrobe, so sad i cant pull of black and white... especially in the summer... They just dont look good on me. But have similar pieces in terms of Style. I hate snuggling things especially in the heat

I really struggle with shorts, I've just given up. They always fit me weird, whether I get my size or size up, or make me look like a hobbit. Lol. I'm a sucker for linen and thinner cotton trousers and skirts, so that ends up carrying me. I like the climate I live in because it's only super hot for a few weeks, and is otherwise pleasant enough to wear longer line clothing and transitional pieces. Also I love nippies! I got a size too big I think, but I'm glad they've expanded their shade range too so everyone can wear them :) free the nip won't work for me, I have quite a large chest.

Rudy makes a great greasy burger - they’re not a sit down kinda place tho. Great for takeaway! Sushi on bloor is really tasty, and I’ve never been but Ive heard great things about Tora in Yorkdale mall. if you want American (I think burgers, fries, steak) x Italian options and cool rooftop vibes try stock TC in midtown! Terroni also has a great patio - they’re an Italian place with a few locations downtown and midtown. Book ahead!

My summer essential are a pair of slip shorts. Chafing thighs are painful as heck

Hello, I`m curious about how many clothes you have and how many outfits you wear per day/week? I wear a lot of the same type of clothes all the time and was wondering if I should only have the minimal amound of clothes? Do you do complete closet changes? So when you are bored of your clothes or if they don`t work anymore, do you just get new things? I usually get bored really fast of trendy items or items for special moments. I`m thinking about sticking to 2 colors from now on. How many colors do you have in your color palette? I know these are quite a view questions, I hope you have the time to answer them. I just roll 2-3 times depending on the length of the pant - the linen trousers in the video do taper on their own, that's prob why!

I’ll never go back to flip flops or flat footed shoes. I wish they were cuter, but to get the support they offer, I think they need to look like this. I’m never going back to non birks. I did get some similar footbed Isabel marant sandals, but they were way more expensive! (I wanted ones without buckles and I took them to the cobbler to have them fitted to my foot - the Isabel marant ones)

I have a Tip... Wear them at Home with socks... My first pair was uncomfortable at first for long walks in the heat of summer. Doing this over the Fall and Winter and i dont wanna wear anything else. Bought a second pair and will do that with them too. Had the issue with all my leather shoes but with Boots thicker socks will do the trick.

Brits say vest not singlet 🇬🇧 love the idea of a vest/tank/ whatever but I don’t think they are generally very flattering …except on models on websites. You look great in yours though. Maybe I’m just not finding the right one for me.

I'm not going to yell at you about dresses because I don't wear them either. But I might start cause, girl, some days I can't be bothered to put pants on. Lol My bottoms include black pants. The end lol

Hate summer, the tops the bottoms, so locking forward yo wear transitional pieces. Even vest are ssving me to wear this season.

100% pajamas, no matter what color.
