I live near a large airport. My dad when he retired he made good money by returning lost luggage for the airlines . The tips were good too . Just sucks you lost all that but like a trooper you did a video.. thumbs up from Pennsylvania !

I recommend Hyperlite mountain gear back pack. It’s as light as a piece of paper. It feels like it’s made out of paper yet very strong. You can adjust the size of it to fit airline carry on standards. I carry my cameras and clothes no problem. I never check a bag.

All of those cities sound amazing! Anxious to hear which one it is!

Buenos Aires is the Paris of South America. Sydney is an iconic place in Australia. New York and Toronto are expensive! I think it comes down to budget and then whether you’re more used to the northern hemisphere or you could be adventurous and try life Down Under. Whatever you choose, you’ll be happy there. I',m sorry to hear about your luggage, I went to St Petersburg and my suitcase went to Madrid, we were reunited at the airport on the way home. I hope that you have no difficulty leaving Russia. Leaving family, older relatives in particular, with the prospect of not seeing them for several years can be difficult.

Dari, I waited until the evening to sit back and enjoy your video, and I am glad I did. 😊 I think it says a lot about you that you'd come back not only to help your family, but also have these last memories with Lucky. It is never easy to say goodbye to a dog as they're really a best friend, but Lucky really is that: he knows he is loved and like a mirror, he's taken your love and reflected it back. ❤ In a way, that is what life is meant to be, and his life is full because he loved and is loved. We should all be so lucky! On a lighter note, I will never fly Air Serbia. Much like flying into a bad airport, I'd pay extra to avoid it and I give you credit for staying as positive as you could. As always, you don't sugar coat things and show a city or country...or food...for what it is. It's genuine and real and always intriguing. I am excited to see where you end up next! If I had to guess, I'd say Sydney, as I have heard Russians have moved there. But I hope it's New York or Toronto 😄.

Great news to see how you move on and on 😘 I once used Serbia Airlines to Belgrade and changed there to a flight to Abu Dhabi. It was not too bad, but I think the same as you that this is an airline that should only be used when there is no other option. In China and Turkmenistan they operated aircraft that looked like from the Second World War... with propellers and chairs that collapsed. Once British Airways lost my baggage between London and New York 😍but did bring it the next day to the university. However, they never paid any compensation and I think this will also be difficult to get for you if you're not staying permanantly inside the EU.

You can get an Apple air tag and keep it in your luggage so you can track it. It is not a consolation, but my luggage went to Hawaii and when I got it back it was the end of my vacation and I had to buy clothes in the meantime.

Good video you should get compensation which you haven’t got your luggage nearly a week but Air Serbia airline is quite a new company since the change of Yugoslavia a few years ago. Good luck with your next trip l shall look forward to your new video.

Lucky will be sick if you leave him, he will know that you're 't going back for long. That happened to my dog "Krpa" when I left him. Then he visit veterinarian and he said that Krpa is depressed. He may die from dejection. But Krpa is OK now. it take him long to get used to be only with neighbors which adore and take care of him. I wish good luck to you Daša and Lucky. (He will survive, he is Lucky aren't he)

I always take my best and favorite clothes to travel, so i would be so pissed if it got lost!!! Fortunately, i have a storage locker in Vancouver now, so i leave a lot of clothes and shoes there. Also got my cat's food, art supplies and so much stuff in it LOL 😆It was a super good investment, because i go about twice a year for 2-3 months at a time.

Sorry you had to go through that. I work for Samsonite luggage and at least 3 people a month walk into my store to buy new luggage because the airlines lost there luggage.

I know the feeling of having to go to a different country to do banking. Last Friday I had to go from Croatia to Hungary to collect a new debit card, as the bank was not willing to post it to a different country. I also needed a new UK bank debit card but fortunately they were willing to post it. Unfortunately that one took nearly 2 months to arrive!

Air Serbia lost an Airplane recently. So suitcases are not a big issue. People send they kids on vacation to their cousins but the Airplane didn't arrive on their destination. On Belgrade airport they couldn't tell the parents where their kids are.. 😭 The plane made a detour in another country due some technical issues bit the idiots in the cockpit missed to report the situation, so the Airline and Belgrad Airport for hours didn't know where their plane is. Poor parents!

I've travelled all over the world and have reduced my luggage to carry-on only. Never have to wait for luggage to be offloaded, or go to the baggage area, or worry about it being stolen. But I also know girls carry more items than guys.

When I was returning from Russia to the USA a few years ago, my luggage was lost. The airline, Lufthansa, found it and shipped it directly to my door in the USA at no charge to me, along with a note saying they were sorry for the inconvenience and hoped I'd travel with Lufthansa again. - I know what it's like leaving a dog you've known for 14 years. It's like a part of the family is missing. The dog in my avatar photo, he was real close to me. - My guess is: Buenos Aires! I don't think you'd get a visa to the USA or Canada. You have been practicing Spanish and you wouldn't need that in Sydney. 🙂
