GSP can be super misleading lol. I've run into people at low GSP that are honestly better than some people I've run into in Elite smash. My Sheik, while definitely not an Elite smash level Sheik, can do very well sometimes, even though it's fairly low in GSP

I feel like some 12 mill players are better than entry elite smash players I fight, I had my King Dedede & Byleth in elite smash but they dropped out & I can’t get them back in easily

I dont wanna be mean but I refuse to believe that I as a terry main am the same gsp as the first guy, i get that we all start somewhere but I would never find myself throwing out f smash and non input burn knuckle in neutral like that, also if the person in question is reading this some advice, when doing jab jab buster wolf grounded opponents can hold sheild through it so try starting w a d-tilt first, also characters w frame 2 air dodges sonic included can airdodfe out of the combo

I think there's some good meta-advice in there - if you want advice on how to improve, you have to get feedback on the things you're doing wrong; not just show when things are going well.

KirbyKong I don't know if you'll see this but I also main Incineroar and I have some edgeguarding tips for you (and any other Incineroar players with a similar question lol) Dair is tempting because it has good range and is very powerful, but it's also very easy to avoid so don't do it too much Nair is actually really strong, quick, and lasts a while, so it's pretty good Fair has great range and is very fast just like nair, so it is also a great tool Neutral B lasts a very long time so it is good against recoveries that go super low and don't have a hitbox/hitbox with bad range Down B is good because it is a counter so it will beat recoveries that are linear and have hitboxes like Roy or Link, and you can usually follow up with jump + fair because of how the offstage person is probably low on resources to avoid you While he has good tools, there are some matchups Incineroar just can't edgeguard in, but his down tilt is great for 2 framing at ledge, and also combos into forward tilt on ledge, which kills at very low percents Hope this helps!

I'm about 10.5 k but I don't play anymore. I used to play a lot of smash when I was younger. I knew I could be better at the game. I was the best in the both neighborhoods where I grew up, but I didn't transition when people started learning how to combo early melee days. I just didn't want to invest the time and I had other goals. However, even at that GSP I'd get comboed out and could hardly maintain my postion. I think I peakedout at 10.5 but it went down.

Here's a list of what I think are GSP milestones in America. 1M - 7M 7M - 10M 10M - 11M 11M - 12M 12M - 12.5M 12.5M - 12.7M 12.7M - 12.9M 12.9M - 13M It gets rough in 12mil 🤣😭

I also do high school eSports for the state of Ohio, we're third in states in smash rn

If I knew how to send in clips. I’ve been playing smash since middle school when the 64 came out. I love Samus and Mario but I can’t get higher than 9milluon gsp unless I play at like 3am, then I can get up to 11(my highest record) but immediately get knocked down to 3-8million in the afternoon. Just seems like there’s a lot of seal clubbers in online matching these days. Based on these guys rocking 13+ million gsp, they’d get smoked by a lot of players in the middle brackets.

Some may be by accident, and what’s the point of the term “casual” if a player can or can’t grab? Like is that really a reason for why somebody isn’t casual? And yet there are casual players that can do that… so I don’t understand how there are “no casual quickplayers”

As someone who’s stayed in Ohio and Florida, yes Florida is as odd as the memes say, but Ohio is super boring besides their three cities

Practice. Practice as much as you can. Also it helps to go against other people to give you advice. But most of it is from your own learning and how you execute things.

I hope somebody here knows my problem, I’ve been playing smash online a lot for the last couple days (I’ve had the game for years but barely played online), and I cannot get past gsp 2000 despite being able to beat level 9 cpu with relative ease. Are there just a ton of smurfs in lower levels or is there some magical level barrier that I don’t know of

​@@kopjevla from CPU to real player there are huge differences,there are players with really High gsp that Just spam side b and then you find someone that reacts so much Better than CPU's avoiding combos and having a good neutral for even or 50/50 matches depending from how good you are at Smash.
