What I like about God is that he doesn't just use anybody, he uses people with “scars” people who fell and got back up. The same thing that the devil used to destroy you, that's the same thing God will use to glorify His name in your life.

What I like about God is that he don't judge. He love every single one of his child. His creation. No matter what. He don't care who you love. As long as you don't hate, don't abuse, don't kill. I'm sorry he went through that abuse!! I am a healed sexual abuse survivor, I am girl that used to be broken before I knew Jesus.

I’m so glad us Ghanaians are speaking openly about these issues. David was a victim of abuse before he ever became a perpetrator. David you are a new creation in Christ!! God bless you both.

I am so sorry for this guy. Unfortunately he is a victim of society too. That he need to hide his true nature. But not only him is a victim. I am even more sorry for the woman who should get married by him in future and have children with him. To marry a gay guy isn't easy. Especially when you don't know it. Later when her marriage will be spoilt. She wasted years of her life and her love too. While she could have found her true soul mate, she became a victim of society. All the years only to find out that all was a lie. Would you like it if someone tells you whom you should love and whom not? Don't do others what you don't like yourself. Otherwise we might receive it back. We shouldn't tell anyone who he should love. Otherwise we might end up with someone who only pretend to love us. At least for me, that is not what I want for my own life. What we sew is what we receive. Amen.

what David is saying is true I know Him very very well but I didn't know He was gay until the police issue came up.. He is a Presbyterian and we were all in ( JY, Junior Youth ) He was by then a j y executive at Asofan Presby(love congregation ) and I was also an executive at Ofankor barrier Presby( Calvary Congregation ). We were actually in the same destrict ( GA WEST DISTRICT ) He was a very humble, kind and a good church boy but none of us knew he was gay even though he always acted girlish.. That very night he was arrested was when we were to travel together the next morning to TEMA SENIOR HIGH TECHNICAL CAMPUS for a Junior Youth camp meeting..I think he wanted to go and do qwicky before we go for the camp meeting but He wasn't lucky that night..So we were at the cump meeting when the news in the papers were trending and we saw the news, everyone was shocked because we never thought he could do that because he was very religious..Church boy paa oo ...But we never rejected him when we came back from the camp meeting., though he was shy when we met him after the incident, but he was still our friend..David has been through a lot, may God be his strenght

Everyone is sinning one way or the other, before that camp meeting, some girl or boy might have had the same encounter or stollen from someone or lied about something. Which is all a sin. I agree with you, this is something through out Africa that needs open and honest discussions. Coz if we keep being dismissive, we will force people to remain in the closet and marry the opposite sex and yet they not in the marriage for the right reasons and it's not fair to the other.

Its naive and backwards to think homosexuality is a 'choice' and people can snap out of it. Africans we like to fool ourselves alot, especially basing things on religion. 1st not all gay humans were abused, just like how not all sex addicts were raped. Some people are born gay and it is only religion that says its bad or a sin. That's why some religious leaders or people are the worst culprits, they hid, have gay sex and call Jesus loud. It's human nature, some are born gay, some bi and some heterosexual. Just like some are born short, medium height and tall. Let us as Africans focus on how to improve our relationships with each other and grow the continent to a postive state.
