To be honest, I so much believe in the voice, but not taking the guy got me thinking, actually he was the reason why I came online, and thank God there are people who feel the same way I feel, in fact my question is what really happened, cuz I have watched him over and over again, and believe me, I never knew or seen him before, but I think not taking him is a surprise to me and evening one out there

You were absolutely right about that, and that's exactly what brought me to the comments section. Okpo Eyo in my opinion is the best vocalist of all the contestants, and unfortunately the coaches deliberately turned deaf ears. Idiots. Darey, Waje, and Yemi knew that guy was a master of the are deliberately ignored a real talent. Eyo, God got your back. Don't give up!

If you can reconsider your decision, please, give this young talents advice even if you don’t turn your chairs for them. Your advice will definitely help them and boost their confidence. 99.9% of this comment section is already about the guy who sang Ego, I’m here to reinforce it to you sir that you’re a star! Undeniably! I was watching this on tv, had to pick up my phone to read the comments and make sure I wasn’t hearing things. The judges were intimidated by your amazing voice, none of them fit coach you. Your time will come! You’re a star!

This is a blind audition but I personally think the judges are also turning it to a deaf audition!!! I respect you Okpo!!

These said judges are indeed scared of some of these contestant's voices... It's just like bringing on a captain into your boat, he might take control of your ship

Shalom literally outperformed everyone I'm surprised he didn't get a turn..even the other guy deserves a turn..they were the best..yet didn't get a turn..we definitely gonna miss Timi this year.

One thing I noticed from the judges is that if you don't sing their genre of music, they won't turn. Simply because when you finally pick them as your coach, how will they coach you, abi🤷

THAT" S EXACTYLY RIGHT. I NOTICED THAT. If you sing a song that they like half-decent, they will turn and be acting like you are so amazing, because of the song. Other than that, they act lie they have very biased judgment of what good singing ability is. They need to fix that.

Truly say, the second guy deserved to be in the show cos he got everything to be an artist and he knows how to play with his voice. Sorry for my English, M Francophone.

Hi, i am an ardent follower of the voice and so happy that after the long wait the voice Nigeria is back and about the same time the voice America is going on. However I don’t think it is the wisest decision that coaches wouldn’t turn when neither of them approves of a singer. THAT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I SAID! Sorry for writing in caps, I was so upset!!! The judges were CLEARLY intimidated by his voice. The guy is a crooner. Waje, for want of a solid reason for not turning, said he was using 'techniques'. How about she tries to unpack that? Watery.

I understand why the judges didn't turn for Salome. He is on a different level and I honestly believe that they wld not have been able to coach him and give him the training he deserves. I listen to a lot of classical music and sadly that is not a genre that's dominant in Nigeria. I just hope he doesn't feel bad and God leads him to the right people and environment that would not only appreciate the uniqueness of his voice but give him the right training. Imagine someone singing afrobeat with that classical voice... It's awesome ❤️

Trust me had it been the was no intro you would think that it's just his own way of adding jazz to the song. I personally know a woman who does both trust me if they go out of their comfort zone and sing a normal son; you will never notice it unless they want you to. But again that's just my opinion 🤷🏽‍♀️

Singing IS about having a good voice.. its definitely NOT about having a bad voice.. you have to have control and be able to convey the song.. if the voice is bad the delivery will be bad.. these guys choose songs way too big for them and it hurts people's ears.. The whole objective is to turn around for an amazing voice that conveys the cover song just as good or better than the original..good voices sell songs bad voices don't..its simple!

I hope y’all realize that this is a blind audition? The judges could not see him nor his body movement and there was no audience to hype him. All the judges could do was feel and they didn’t feel it. I didn’t too. The emotions seemed rehearsed and fake. Can he sing? Yes he can,he’s skillful too but music is supposed to make you feel.

I was touched by the song "Ego''. That guy nailed it. Kudos to him. He is a star.

Timi and Pato ranking wouldn't have missed those talents!

I hope someone sees Shalom and works with him. His voice is magic! Ah! Pure talent! And electrifying performance.

The coaches performances at the beginning of the show and how they were all blended is apt

Those two guys did amazingly well. The ego guy particularly had the best attitude. In my opinion the judges were playing a little too tough to make it seem like they knew what there were doing, so uncalled for. I pray the boys don’t give up on their dreams and eventually realize immense success.
