my strategy to improve at typing
hi! i am nekkoteki and i made this guide to well, prove a point sorta, to work on your core fundamentals and become a solid typist
this is my strategy that i used to get to 220wpm to 240wpm within 2 months and hope it helps you too :3, if you leave a comment i will try my best to answer but please take everything with a grain of salt

how long do you type per day and do you use a special keyboard like these people use in the court or just a normal qwerty one?

i mainly type 15-30 min per day, however i used to type much more back later which would be like 1hr per day and yes i use qwerty normal keyboard

well! how much time (months / years ) you spent to achieve this speed of 200+ wpm...? genuinely curious to know about that ...xD

hello! for me, it is 10+ of being on the computer and a few years of speedtyping, but of course it is possible to get to this speed at a faster pace, such as when you are dedicated to do the stuff that you want to do and put your mind into typing typing is more of a mental thing in my opinion (please, take this with a grant of salt) - you really have to figure out where to work on to improve at to get more efficient with a keyboard AND there is a physicial limit, but i feel in my opinion (please take this with a grain of salt again..), it will very hard to reach to that point considering all of the optimizations that is possible!

@@nekkoteki thanks for your suggestion... btw can you tell about my progress? i have acquired avg speed of 80+ wpm in 7 months starting as a complete beginner. i currently do practice at the laptop keyboard should i buy a proper keyboard?

@@Manu1Rajput laptop keyboard should be fine to improve where you are currently - even up to to higher speeds, but if your keyboard isn't working as well as you want (because me personally my chromeboo keyboard sucks.. but could be my fault) and i know some people would die for laptop keyboards and people would die for mech keyboards. in reality it is more towards preference so don't be scared to stick to your laptop keyboard if it is working well for you, also great work on your progress! 80wpm is very good in a couple of months
