I want to die an Addict but don't want to die from addiction. I never will beat addiction I just have learned to live one day at a time with it. 20 years 9 months and 2 days later....Thanks Healing Place for giving me the clarity of not beating but the blessing of living with my illness.

Just discovered this channel I'm struggling with drugs and alcohol abuse I don't want it at all listening to this channel will help and guide me to take action I don't want to suffer from this poison ever again

The "gift" of desperation is something we acquire the hard way, but is one of the building blocks of sobriety. When we can no longer live with the person in the mirror, we have a chance...only then do we become willing to have the merciless obsession lifted from us. Sobriety, however, is NOT an intellectual proposition, it is spiritual.
