Grandpa in the car was a flashback to earlier that day when Gramps had been watching Alex practice. Alex was soloing when the crash happened. That should have been made clearer.

I had someone who hurt me for many years. I had to leave the situation, and then it took 8 years to forgive them.
What happened to Alex"s Grandparents !!!!!!!! Later for his dad !!!! Glad that their relationship is getting better , though.
This would have made more sense if stepmom had asked him to run an errand and the accident happened. The fact he was having a driving lesson with his grandfather made her accusation make no sense.
My step mom ran me and my sister from our dad now he's wondering where he went wrong with cause we won't take care of him now he's old he didn't raise us some people will never see there errors just move on and stop letting them hurt you anymore
