Hey Sadia, no I didn't reach out to any of the professors whom I have mentioned in my SOP. It is always better to connect with them beforehand (but I don't think it impacts our admission decision at all). Also I have applied to 22 universities, it was almost impossible to find professors from every university and keep them in loop with me. Hope the best for your masters journey 😊

Applied for PhD in Physics with a GRE score of 313 and 108 TOEFL. Received a rejection from Uni of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Worried about the others😬

Hey Nimmi, no need to worry. It's just that you were not a good fit according to their current requirement. I know a student from 2019 Fall batch who was rejected from all the 8 universities he applied for computer science course except CMU(which is the #1 university) So just sit back and relax, you'll definitely get a good admit soon🤞🤞 All the best for your phd journey😊

Hey bhaiya i really need some guidance! Watching your videos from some time now !! Right now i am pursuing Bsc hons CS from delhi university( 3year ug) and i really want to go usa for ms in cs so i know there is a 16year requirement so right now i can think of several options: 1) after bsc hons cs go for mca and drop after 1year for ms 2) complete 3year of mca and then apply for ms cs 3) Do Ms Data science from Vit vellore which makes 17years of education and then apply for ms cs and i really want to go for this option as i love data science. Bhaiya can please suggest which can be best way it would be really helpful! Thank you!

Hey Aman,in my opinion you should go with the 3rd option i.e doing MS ds for 2 years and then going to US for MS CS... Dropping after doing 1 year of mca seems like a waste of a complete year.. Doing MS DS now will also give you another perspective. It is possible that you start loving DS It will keep at thr options open for you Hope the best for your future :))

@@explicitwolf8668 truee..this vit tag is very popular in the US. If you have gpa > 8.5 from vit. You will easily get into the top US universities and maybe even ivy leagues

If i go for ms data science from vit vellore after my bsc hons cs [as 99% universities in us have (3+2) requirement if not a 4year ug] and then apply in us for ms cs, will it affect my application that i have done Ms in Ds so like they won’t Accept me in ms cs something like that? Please bhaiya it would be really helpful if you can reply as i cannot find anything related to this. Thank you again!!
