I used to edc a Coach "boarding bag" when I used to always bring an ipad, it fits my style more. But lately have left that and the ipad at home. Hopefully ios16 allows for pencil use on the iphone, as that can also work for me. When I travel, I never bring a daypack backpack and just use the same boarding bag for that purpose. I just have a flatter Nalgene flask instead of the usual cylindrical shaped bottle, fits both my TB Synapse 25's middle pocket and the Coach boarding bag.

The “I have no friends” and the bag yeet cracked me up man haha. Amazing video as always!

I love your videos and it's inspiring /helping me a lot! Actually I own a biker bag (from Velodeath) and most the things I carry there too! My friends always gets impressed how many necessary things I carry with me

I also have a Bellroy bag; I think it's the 9L Venture Sling. It's one of the best purchases I've made. As I travel a lot on the tube, I do have noise cancelling headphones; I use the Sony WM3's over-ear as I don't want to be sticking things in my ears. The only other significant difference is that I have my Kindle in it rather than my iPad mini, as the Kindle gives a better reading experience.

Nice setup man. I too, have the lite sling and the orbitkey with keytool. Really enjoy “abusing” those around haha

My tablet sometimes feel like an extra. But others, is my best friend. Same with my laptop. We really need to filter through all this new tech that comes out every day. My phone is not "The latest, fastest one" from Samsung. It's a very low/mid scale one. But it gets the job done in my everyday. The cameras are nice, I take great photos with it, I hear tons of music with it, read... All this beyond the social media stuff.

Love your humor! Great video and keep them coming. What about productivity apps and process you use in daily life?

The iPad Mini is a great investment, especially in combination with the pencil and considering your use cases. You could go completely paperless if you wanted: calendar/planner/bullet journaling and even reading (unfortunately the eyestrain is real for me and I'll have to switch to an e-ink device). Bought my first + yet only iPad (and overall Apple device) 5 years ago and expect to get at least 1 or 2 additional years out of it. I wish I'd have taken better care in terms of battery health but am still astounded by its longevity. Not sure if gaming has its place in your minimalist approach but in case you want to allow yourself some fun distraction and could use a recommendation: Playing Kingdom Rush navigated with the pencil is just on another level. 😬

It's interesting that you upgraded from the RUSH pack - when i saw that video I was thinking "he has a LOT of bag for such a minimalist EDC footprint" (don't get me wrong, it's nice to be able to pick up a few things from the store w/ your EDC pack - haha). I saw you as the Peak Design Everyday Sling in 5L or 10L... and then you ended up with a similar pack. Nice job always evolving!!!! Be safe.

Did you consider the bellroy venture 6L? It is pretty much the same size. It has a dedicated sunglasses zipper pocket w some soft lining. For me the absolute must have is a back zipper pocket to keep my passport and wallet which neither the sling lite or venture has. Still trying to find the perfect 4-6L sling bag for my international travel

I have the venture sling 9L it’s amazing . I went from the backpack to it and have a ton of space left. Nordstrom’s sells it and had free shipping , they have a good return policy in case you don’t like it.

What are the two lenses you use along with your camera in the bag? I also enjoy a lightweight edc and I want to compare it with my camera. I personally have a sony a73 and would carry along a sony 35mm F1.8. Also, is the bag significantly more bulky that it looks weird with your camera? Just wondering since you werent able to get a shot with your camera inside

Sigma 30mm, and Sony 20mm pancake lens is what I use and it fits here 😄

Can you recommend me the most compact and beautiful bag for iPad Mini 6 (as well as future iPad Mini 7) I found the Black Ember Kompak also suitable, but it doesn't look aesthetically pleasing and doesn't hold an iPad with a protective case.

Have you had any problems with the stitching? I ordered one a few days ago, but I read a review today saying the stitching came loose after a couple of months. I'm guessing you haven't encountered any problems. Hoping the review I read was just bad luck and not a reoccurring issue.

Yeah, great video ....i ALWAYS need a spare pair of sunnies tho as my eyes are pale blue so pathetic in any bright light. ..also do you ever carry some kind of defence spray etc.? Its illegal here in Uk tho. I'm upping my self-defence knowledge now e.g. Aikado. It helps my confidence very much. It is just quick logic. I'm female so sadly i carry a rape alarm which is rechargable, and has a powerful LED torchlight. Your bag looks like a very good buy . 👍💜

One suggestion - next time you show your car / apartment keys - wrap them in something or blur the image. Just to hide unique cutout on the keys so no one will try to reproduce them out of picture... :)
