The ambient jacket looks sweeeeet!
Great video. I agree with you on the base. I've been doing weeks of research myself on tech behind both materials. I was looking up everything from mountain climbers, military, and hunters. It was eye opening learning more about the materials. I'm a mossy oak bottomland man inside and out but have been adding and deleting a bunch of sitka line from my Amazon cart for the past month haha. I like their approach every piece is made for a reason. Keep up the work bro!!!

Well follow up. Now own 3/4 of the sitka line of whitetail and several optifade pieces. So glad I did the jump. The gear is amazing.
Can you go over the sizes in your kit and your body dimensions? Size up in the outer rain and puffy layer? Cheers!
Good stuff. It’s really preference but I’d argue that merino is still best for next to skin both in terms of odor control and also the wider coverage you get In thermoregulation properties that merino offers.

Pretty sweet and thorough run down of your layering system. I have seen some pieces on sale on Camofire/Black Ovis and GoHunt gear shop. I have been tempted to get the Equinox for turkey 🦃 season and early archery 🏹 and the Kelvin Active hoody and Traverse pants 👖. Do you have a similar rundown for chasing Mountain 🏔 Bucks in PA and the East. I plan on hunting public land in north central PA this year. 🏹🦌

@@BeauMartonik thank you for getting back to me with such a thorough reply including a link to a list and videos. That's right most people use the Fanatic and Celsius and Stratus for whitetail hunting. I just read the difference between the Fanatic and Kelvin outside of the camo pattern. I hunt mostly from the ground, although I did buy/won some Tethrd gear (still need to flesh that out) last year and need to practice with it before this fall. I am still trying to figure out exactly what pack I want to use to carry my sticks, platform, other gear and hopefully pack out a quartered up deer from some deep and steep places in WV and PA.
What would pair well with the stratus bibs to get me thru late season? Oklahoma gets a lil cold at times for the stratus.
