Hi Kelsey, great video as always… did you record that wash n go gone wrong and/or what products did you use?

This is a great routine for when it’s dry and time for a wash but you need to do something quick with your hair other than slicking it back afterwards

That Part! That’s exactly what I did. My WnG was feeling dry, I shampooed with a cleansing cream, added a leave-in and pulled it back into a bun. But next time I can try this routine.

lol this is funny because this is very similar to my year round hair routine. I guess I am a true lazy natural I can’t be bothered with tedious sections and curl definition and even twists and braids. I shampoo, condition, apply a leave in and curl cream and call it a day lol. I also oil my ends every night and this simple routine every 3-4 days grew my hair from a short bob to nearly waist length in 2 years with no “protective” styles. I was just listening to what my hair wanted and what my time and patience allowed and it somehow worked wonders.

@@KM-np1rfTo your point, I don’t find your routine to be ‘lazy’ at all. I am of the opinion that the natural hair community has created and perpetuated this false-narrative that natural hair is difficult to manage and therefore there is this belief that if your routine does not take twelve hours or if you are not using 30 products then your hair will look like trash. This is far from true. My wash routine may take all of one hour or 1 1/2 hours to complete from start to finish and that extra 30 minutes is because I get distracted. lol

​@@iwilson3950I think it depends on one's hair density and the desired style one is trying to achieve. These definitely add time! I agree we have all been sold unhelpful ideas on how to care for natural hair.

Hair looks nice. what was the styler you used?

I remember seeing Redken in the 80s as a youngster and thinking it was only for our white sisters and brothers until I started using the products for myself. I love this haircare line.

Does the scalp massager tangle hair do you find? My oldest daughter gets a lot of buildup and am looking to try it

So no styler/oil after, just the leave in conditioner?

I cannot try this because i need hold. The frizz is too obvious with just a leave in! And by day 3 it will be over
