Mark, I am a senior citizen, twice your age, and I want to thank you for the joy that your videos give. I think the greatest thing you do is show young people how to live... how to contribute... how limitless their futures are... how to be a great Dad (LOVED the video with your son)... and how to have passion to make the world a better place through engineering. I couldn't make the grade, nor the tuition, back in "my day," so I chose a different path of service, but never lost my passion to create. Even now, in my little retiree's workshop (about a 100th the size of yours!) I still fabricate solutions to problems and generate gifts for friends and family. I hope to do this to my last day. You are a credit to your wonderful Mom whom you lost WAY too soon; to that awesome son of yours who uses his talents to bring joy to others; and I suspect even Fat Gus admires your engineering prowess as he thwarts your efforts with his intellect superior to mine, anyway! All the Best and With Respect, Richard A.

So I did some maths and for the target I think you need to aim at about 0.4122 meter about the target. My method for working Screen record a shot at the target and get the time it intakes to hit the target then use that as t which was .42 seconds divid by two as we will be getting the descent half.then do 1/2x9.81 (the gravitational constant for acceleration) x t^2 which is = to 0.2061 then x by two as that is the distance from the half way point which is 0.4122 m for horizontal aim just be dead centre (assuming no wind. This was done without air resistance as I don’t know how to calculate that.

Guys like Mark are why I wish KZread was around when I was a kid. I may not have ended up as an engineer, but he’s a brilliant role model. His best lesson has always been that just because you fail doesn’t mean you have to quit. Being able to work through the failure and push towards success and find solutions is a lesson that can be used in any part of life. Hats off to this guy, no KZreadr deserves more success than him.

I wonder if you could make one of those pneumatic pulley systems that work both ways or if it would need something else for you to be able to hold on to the rope and get pulled up instead of falling down slowly. Like if there was also a rope with a Winch that pulled you up. You could use that invention to descend into Mines and Ascend from them as a different way to go up and down for emergencies. An elevator is better of course though.
Mark, you're going to go down in history as one of the most brilliant, most-fun, educators and mentors - ever. Kids today have a new role model. You're a genius.

Viejo que lugar tan genial , contratare tus juguetes para mis niños ❤👌🏼
You are BY FAR my favorite creator of all time. You’ve grown so much as a KZreadr! You started by putting 2 iPads in a jacket, and now you’ve grown to planting 20,000,000 trees, saving the ocean, getting the highest average view count on the platform, and building you’re own dream of a warehouse. Keep up the great content, and know that you are a great content creator and a great person overall.

I had no idea he was the one behind the app for the Halloween costume thing until he mentioned it in a recent video. I used that on my Acer Iconia Tab, if that gives a clue to how long ago it was.

I have a very serious question though. yes he's my favorite creator but who is he competing with when he needs secret passageways after everything? Who is hel threatening his status as best uncle on the continent?
@monkey.druffy9022

@@KNR90 I think he made those secret passageways just for fun. Moreover, his nephews probably have other uncles as well.
Mark is actually a genius. He literally made a way to fix peoples unsanitary habits and also made all of our childhood dreams a reality. PS. There is literally no imaginable possibility that you aren’t all of your nieces and nephews favorite uncle.

Facts....watch the nerf gun video. Mark definitely wins Christmas every year.
This is so smart!! Your box orders are a huge inspiration for kids, well done!! 😃
Marque I would be thinking about taking the gears and the disc launcher to make a more or less square base and another small square base to take the launcher and put it on top and the cog gears
It is still rare to see someone so passionate about what they do, and to get so much joy from it that they can't help but share it. Well done Mark. The Crunch Lab boxes seem like great kits. I wish you continued success.
I bet everyone has thought at least once "Wouldn't it be cool to have a secret room behind a bookshelf" Mark just went ahead and did it 😂

I think including a bunch of spare parts would be very useful to teach kids not to panic when something doesn't work the first time or breaks

spare parts is where the "ka-ching" factor comes in for them i think.
small note: you can see the light under the secret entrance to the lab! you may wanna fix that in order to keep it SUPER secret! (or at least keep it in mind for when you revamp the room)
