I’m 68 years old, I became a Christian in 1978, and am glad to say I haven’t stopped learning about our Lord - I don’t want to stop, actually. The more I read the Word and listen to wise teachers like this the more I realize how much I truly do not know.

Hi Alan Olsen I was saved 1980. I noticed in the start of 2020, everything I had learnt over the years about Bible prophesy that I ever wondered about, came to life instantly. I couldn’t connect the dots fast enough. I have been awaken to a whole new level & embraced Gods word, like never before. I agree with you, wise teachers like Joe were meant for these times. There are a few on you tube that I give thanks to God for. It’s like God speaks through each one, connecting their messages. It is true, God does show us, what we couldn’t quite understand……. I’m excited to see how God works it all out🙏🏻

I was saved in Jan of 1984, and I say the same thing. I've come to understand that God is Eternal and that we will never stop learning about Him - that's how I've reasoned it in my mind, especially when I've seen God in the Secret Place and said, "GOD, I don't know you!" That's very real and true for me. We will never stop learning about this amazing God - there is no end to Him.

@@mrst7787 so..you don't support any missionaries which means you would not have supported Jesus or Paul either.... you need to go read the entirety of the 2 letters to the Corinthians and quit contradicting The Word of the Living God! The Lord Jesus Christ said "the workman is worthy of His hire" Luke 10:7 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. (1Tim5:17-19) and we are to support our pastors! One who is taught the word must share all good things with the one who teaches. (Gal 6:6) it is the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.... your comment is woefully ignorant of the commands Christ has left for the care of the Church.

I'm a Christian. I thought this was such a beautiful message. Thank you for uplifting the Saviour!

I have been blessed to be working in ministry for 36 years, by God’s grace. One red flag that has always stuck out to me is when a person names a ministry after himself/herself. Radio has always been more meaningful to me because it removes much of the personality that TV brings. Faith comes by hearing. We have such a cult of personalities in our society. God has always kept us dependent on daily manna. No excess. I have fallen and been restored many times. I suspect that this will continue to a degree until the day God separates my spirit from my sinful flesh for eternity. But I have witnessed far too many miracles and outpourings of Jesus’ grace, restoration and provision to ever doubt Him or my salvation. I was sealed.

When I see a or hear of a ministry and it’s titled after the main minister I turn the other way because all you hear is about how close to God they are and how God talks to them more personally then HE talks to us as if they themselves are not sinners and are more holy then we ourselves are which is why they have million dollar homes, airplanes, & travel all over the world. These people don’t preach the gospel about the one true God we believe in, it may sound like it satan loves to imitate Christ.

It's easy. The more they enjoy their fame, the more corrupt they are. The more they sing praises, the more corrupt they are. The louder they pray, the more corrupt they are. Those who are not corrupt sing the LORD's praises in private, they shy away from public eye and when they pray, they pray in silence. Is your favorite celebrity preacher corrupt? Yes. Yes he is.

@@khatack I used to be painfully shy around people at church, but now, if I hear a song that moves the Holy Spirit within me, I won’t feel embarrassed to worship him by standing up with my arms up. When the Holy Spirit touches me in such a manner, the other people in the room just fade away as though they’re not even there and it’s just me and my Lord. I no longer care about what others think, only what God thinks about me.

Spoken with insight and humility. We all need to be on guard, lest we slip. And we are often blind to our own faults.

@@blindvision4703 What it means is that you have to have control of your carnal desires ( make your body your slave/have control over it) especially for a preacher. Paul did not want to lose his crown or possibly salvation. It’s not about financial remuneration.

The folks who were building the tower of Babel were making a name for themselves (Gen 11). Then Abraham is called by God in Gen 12 and promised that God would make a name for him. Works vs Grace.

The love of a soft peaceful gospel will be our own undoing ultimately. I have nothing against Pastor Joe, I believe his messages are pretty insightful. However, let's consider someone who's probably listening blindly to some of the preachers on his list. The Gospel is not our own message but from the Father Himself. If we have a chance to spread it, we shouldn't leave out anything that could save the other person. Otherwise, be blessed Sister Brenda.

Thank you for speaking the truth. My 82 yr old father preached from the time he was 22, refused to take any money ever. He believed exactly what you are saying, and also that preachers are often tempted to soften the message so as not to offend the big money givers,. As a result his messages always came from God and not him. I’m so blessed to have had him as long as I did. You are very wise to keep your list. God bless you.

The first great thing is ...... That you recognized that you have signed. See, you have a conscience Now pay close attention to it that's why God gives it to us. Stop in your tracks. Ask for forgiveness and ask Jesus for the strength not to repeat such sins. Never stop asking for strength.

It’s normal for a minister to be supported by those he ministers to, wrote Paul: 1Co 9:9 For it is written in the Law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? 1Co 9:10 Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. 1Co 9:11 If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you? 1Co 9:12 If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right, but we endure anything rather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ. 1Co 9:13 Do you not know that those who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings? 1Co 9:14 In the same way, the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel. 1Co 9:15 But I have made no use of any of these rights, nor am I writing these things to secure any such provision. I thank God my Dad started a humble ministry. He stayed humble. His doing so led his older brother to repent and also serve the Lord. 2 small towns in N Canada..God used their lives to encourage people to serve God. Dad did leave pastor position..but served years after..preach in other churches, live obedient to Jesus. Still delivers Bibles at age 82. My uncle pastored more years..so thankful..He passed away last year and he said His life was changed..If Jesus called..my uncle said Send Me. My Dad is sad to not see his brother for a "little while". Both knew the cost ..Jesus knows the wheat from the tares. God lead me to be humble..my life is not Mine own. Break me Lord..keep me. Daughter who knows I can only choose Jesus..no turning back. Press on..encourage your brothers to Keep faith..we will gather At the River!!!

He has a great channel. I found him a while back and keep coming back to him. I suspect he and I don't agree 100% theologically, but most of what he says I do agree with and I appreciate his good heart and obvious sincerity.

I want to tell you that to receive victory you need your mind to be renewed, "And be ye changed/transformed by the renewing of your mind", you need to feed you heart with God's word, remember what the psalmist said"thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against you ". Also the place of guarding your heart with all diligence, any thing that cause that reaction stay away from it okay?. And I pray for you that the Lord will give you the grace to say No, and that sin shall no longer have dominion over you, where there is temptation the Lord will provide an escape, and may His strength be made manifest in your weakness In Jesus Name ,Amen. Brother Evan, I understand fully the struggles you are in. if you sincerely ask God for forgiveness and to ask the Holy Spirit to lead you and represent you as you pray, He will begin to change you slowly from the inside out. What has helped me is this....When I pray I always ask to be led away from the things that God hates and only do the things that He loves..... "5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile towards God; it does not submit to to God's law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. Prayers for you🙏🙏🙏 Stay in God’s word and be guided by the leadership of the Holy Spirit. For me it was rapid the transformation. Because I was addicted to drugs and alcohol. Those I associated with are still today stuck in that lifestyle. It was so strong the convictions from the Holy Spirit to stay away. And now it’s been 4 years of freedom. I have connected with some of my old friends but am very well aware to be vigilant when I do connect with them again. Continue to put your full trust in our lord and saviour Jesus Christ Grace and peace and love be multiplied to you and your family ✝️❤️🙏

I saw your message! I respect you Joe and really appreciate you speaking God's word. You helped me see into the light and walk with Jesus again when I was so lost in the darkness. I’m not rich or famous. I fell into lust. It destroyed two marriages. And good jobs. And shamed my children. I can’t go back. And I struggle to go forward. I drag that sin everywhere. It is shackled to my leg. I’ve begged and begged God to remove it. I guess my faith isn’t strong enough. Because I still have it. I’ve called myself repetitive but I guess not it’s still here. What is left for a broken man like me?
