My Second Round of IVF! First Week Of IVF Injections
Welcome to my second round of IVF, and my first week of IVF injections! Here I go again, my second round of IVF. But this time, I already know how to do the first week of IVF injections. During my first round of IVF back in November, I remember being stressed about learning how to do the IVF injections and not knowing what to expect from getting the IVF injections. So this time, my stress level was a lot lower!
Since this is my second round of IVF, I show you how I do the first week of IVF injections. I was also curious to see how my second round of IVF compares to the first round of IVF, so I decided to vlog my IVF experience again :-) This is a week long vlog where I pick up the camera every day and tell you guys how I'm feeling during this second round of IVF, and how the first week of IVF injections are treating me.

Thanks for sharing! We just got our results back and got 4 normal embryos. Trying to decide whether to do another cycle, but I think we are going to try one transfer first and re-evaluate. It’s so tough to know!

Congratulations!! 4 embryos that’s AMAZING!! I wish I could try for a transfer before doing another cycle. But the way my payment is set up through my clinic is if I successfully have a baby, then I lose that money I payed for already for the second cycle. So if I wanted to do another round, I had to do it before the transfer otherwise losing my chance to get more embryos with the money I already paid. So if you have the option to do the transfer before doing another cycle without losing money, I would definitely do that. Best wishes and sending all the baby vibes your way! I am catching up on your videos! I love them! I wish I had found you before, you are so informative and easy to understand. Did you do patches before the shots? Sorry if I missed that! Just curious.

My clinic never puts you under general anesthesia for a retrieval. I don't even think think that they are equipped for that. I was lucid all 3 times. They give ativan, fentanyl and versed. It was never 100% pain free but i rather be conscious if I can.

I’ve heard a few people tell me this about their clinic as well. And my clinic only puts people under anesthesia, never awake. I don’t think there’s a right or wrong way, just different ways of doing it

Thank you for your videos. I saw that you mentioned getting 160 blood pressure, was it normal for you? did your blood pressure increase during the IVF cycle? if yes, which part of it and how much? Thanks for providing your experience with us.

No that blood pressure was very high for me, but I’ve noticed it can get that high if I’m very nervous which I was. I don’t think the IVF meds had anything to do with it

I was put on it a couple months beforehand so I had at least one period on the pill
