How I'm Preparing For My Frozen Embryo Transfer

How I'm preparing for my frozen embryo transfer specifically what supplements I'm taking to help the embryo implant successfully. As my frozen embryo transfer date of July 1st quickly approaches, I'm focused on preparing my body for the embryo. I believe that taking the right kind of supplements will help increase the chance of success of the frozen embryo transferring successfully with the result of a healthy pregnancy.
This video is dedicated to how I'm preparing for my frozen embryo transfer in terms of supplements. I will do another video on how I'm preparing for my frozen embryo transfer in terms of diet and nutrition. Maybe I'll do a grocery haul or a full day of eating showing you how I'm eating to prepare for my frozen embryo transfer.

Thank you for sharing your vitamins, I take a lot of the same ones. I am going through fertility treatments and praying we get to transfer in 2 weeks. Next week is our anniversary also, so we are super excited. Praying God guides and blesses your schooling, anniversary, and IVF journey.

My infertility doctor actually prescribed I take magnesium+B6 before my FET. And that’s coming from a doctor who is very conservative in terms to supplements.

Too much folate and B12 has been linked with autism. I haven't looked at the studies myself but it is a hint to take a look. in general, when it comes to vitamins, it is better to stick to RDA. This applies to minerals too. Wishing all healthy and strong babies!

@@brittany_elizabeth_rn It is also a good idea to do a blood test. Red blood cell folate (recommended test) will indicate a medium-term folate status over approx. 120 days which is a lifecycle of a red blood cell, whereas serum folate is a short-term marker and may be highly varying on a daily basis. So if you are within normal range - nothing to worry about. At the same time, having excessively high concentrations may be potentially dangerous as 'the more the better' does not apply to anything in food or diet, it is all about balance.

It was recommended by my naturopath, but I don’t think it’s necessary. Just helps with overall health in prep for the transfer. Also helps with egg quality if you’re looking to improve that

On the topic of the prenatal Vitamins: Could you share in a comment what is the current opinion in the USA about Elevit? There are so many of the new generation supplementation brands for pregnancy brands and vitamins that it can be quite difficult to choose from.

@@brittany_elizabeth_rn well the seamoss my friend recommended it for my husband with low sperm count. She said it worked for her husband. Then I read up more on it and turns out it’s also good for fertility in both men and women, and egg quality in women. Totally worked on my husband btw. His sperm shot up to optimal levels. He used this in addition to a few other male fertility friendly supplements. And as for spirulina and chlorella , just more research. I was trying to find the best cocktail of supplements to aid egg health and egg quality

That’s a great video topic I’ll do soon! I kept taking the folic acid through the first trimester and then stopped because I ran out and didn’t see the point in continuing it since my prenatals have so much in them already. So now I take prenatal vitamin, omega 3 fish oil, and vit d3. I used to take vit b6 for nausea but I stopped that because my nausea is ok now. I also started taking unisom every night for nausea, even tho my nausea is better, I’m still taking this to help with sleep since I’m becoming more uncomfortable as I’m getting larger. I hope this helps!
