    I said this in the first video I made on this last April but I think it's good that the Fighters are getting paid to fight in Creator Clash 2! I'm just critical of the marketing implying it's all for charity and people like Alanah saying that Froggy is stealing from charity when his $15k advance came from the money he's getting to fight and not money for charity. That's why the video was made. I have no issue with people getting paid for their work

    Idk man I think honestly they're taking a huge pay cut to do it and often enough to maintain their life expenses, which yes are much higher than average because of their existing assets usually, but their purses were enough to not make them sink for doing the event, less so for compensating them.

    Gotta love how they walked all over froggy but showed no receipts of him doing something bad before being kicked out. Froggy was open about everything and people sided with him, if only Ian was more open from the start I don't think people would care as much as they do. Besides if it was really for charity, they should do whats best for the event so it raises more money, but it seems Ian and Anisa care more about their own image then about the success of the event. All I saw from Idubbz new video was excuses and not a lot of compromise.

    @theoutsiderjess4869 You mean about the communication stuff? Like Anisa trying to get in contact with Froggy when he said he didn't get any notice or contact from them before his ban? I get that, but that's really minor in the grand scheme. This was all blown out of proportion because of a joke at Anisa's expense which was not even worthy of note. Add Sam Hyde simply training Froggy, and it was an action done out of fear of Froggy being a Sam Hyde spy, which was ridiculous to assume on their part. Ian and Anisa turned nothing into something. It only made matters worse as they dropped an awful clarification and went dead silent, leaving people who aren't even involved to play defense team for them until after the event. Can't blame Froggy or Sam for this. This one is on them.

Private lessons will take a fair amount per hour as well so they're gonna obviously take a less intensive 7 hour each day training. (I'd presume.) It just wouldn't be cost effective. The dent made in the money given shouldn't have been the entire 20k it'd be beyond stupid. And judging from how most of the creators faught in the event, they didint seem to know much. Some had good like basics but the rest seemed so fucking iffy. I really think the 20k was really mostly pocketed and the creators 100% could've just paid themselves with their massive bank accounts.

You should also keep in mind that ppvs aren’t the only way this event generates revenue; in person ticket sales, sponsorships, and merchandise also contribute heavily. CC2 had about 6 different sponsors; Crash Bandicoot, Fansly, Raid Energy, Ohhh, and a few others. We don’t know how much the fighters got paid for CC2. Harley said 20k + percentage of the door sales on PKA, but who knows if that actually happened or not. I imagine some of them got paid more than others.

    A couple of points: - Froggy, on another video, stated he would give his purse, his cut of ticket sales and his cut of the PPV to charity. This implies that the $20k is the MINIMUM for each creator. - Ticket sales for both events haven't really been confirmed, just PPV buys. - iDubbbz apparently rented out a hotel for unaffiliated guest creators (see his video) for this event. Add that in and that's likely why the cost rose so dramatically.

    Honestly if they want to do it for charity, then fighters should do it for free and only have to pay for the broadcasting itself, all money being sent to the event should just be to pay the bare minimum for broadcasting and anything left for charity. It's hard (for me) to see on how an event would all go towards charity, when you have a bunch of stuff needed to pay off, along with paying the fighters off. • @GrayMajik
    @GrayMajik Жыл бұрын

    I don’t know, it’s just a complex situation. As easy as it is to say fighters shouldn’t be getting paid like some comments are suggesting, it is really hard to get people on board to fight for that. The 20k creators were making probably didn’t even cover the costs most of them put into training, and at that point most creators would rather just donate the money directly than waste it all on training expenses and then show up to not even make that much for charity from people coming to the event. Things like the gala are also supposed to get people interested in watching the event, so even though it didn’t work out this time it is hard to predict whether expenses like that are actually going to help get money or hurt in the long run. It’s unfortunate, but with underperforming sales an already questionable setup was pushed past the breaking point. People are starting to realize that massive charity events like these are not actually that good at generating excess revenue, especially compared to your average charity stream that costs a lot less to make but gets a lot more general audience participation.

    this is not the first time ive seen a charity event and the money all spend on the event instead of charity and im afraid this wont be the last. no disrespect, i'm very skeptical to see how much money Creator Clash makes made by someone whos not from the inside confirming it. still the fact that Charity Event and idubz losing money -$25K sound normal to me. its charity event, it supposed to lose money because it non-profit. it seem someone want something in retun instead of doing boxing event for fun and also Charity. my theory the Creator Clash is just idubz try to find new audience thats more profitable (maybe like H3 audience) instead of edgy audience. Creator Clash are just branding things so they can make businesses and stay away from edgy joke and content cop. the reason why Sam Hyde and Froggy Jokes are "Brand Risk" because it hurts their brand and all the charity excuses are worthless because non of money goes to charity, all of them goes to the event. this is just a case of bad management, the fact that they surprised and didn't expect Charity Event gonna lose money and thinking the event can coverup the cost of the event and charity instead of paying for the event and the event only need to raised money for charity. i don't know them personally so this just a guess but i do still think this all just a big mismanagement and failure attempt made by however run this creator clash 2.
