The theme throughout the album where the song is from, is the transformation of a peaceful village into a warlike people. This song is the confrontation between the villagers and an invader threatening them. Heilung represent the ancestry of Northern Europe (Scandinavia) and Germania too. And it makes me happy, I am of Blood and ancestors of that region and I’m just so happy that they are representing our indigenous culture as people of Germanic/Scandinavian blood and that people like this woman loves it!! Yes, those are real bones being used as a musical instrument. I hear they have trouble getting them through airport security.

Maria has a set of fake human arm bones when traveling to countries that find that sort of thing unusual.

This song is so good. Great reaction.

Basically we all are the same- humans-also we belong to environment we are colling "nature" or "Mother Earth". I mean literally- humans are part of Earth!

She guests in a few other bands and her voice is always crystal clear and beautiful. Check out the song Judged by, by the band EUZEN.

Always had a soft spot for women wearing antlers. Their album is both hypnotic and at times a little disturbing, well worth checking out.
