Advertising signs in stadiums and halls have started to be rented to different companies depending on the country. I wrote exactly the same project in my book "I am ready, let it begin" published in 1998.

Virtual Reality: What appears to exist does not actually exist
Let's assume that there are 100 advertising signs around a soccer field. For the World Cup, these signs will display the advertisements of 300 companies from 50 countries, 100 of which will pay the highest price for advertising.
This is where virtual reality comes into play and the image of the match first comes into the computer. Then, whichever country the broadcast will be sent to, the advertisements of that country are uploaded to the images on the signs.
Example: Signboard number 1 is seen as McDonalds in America, Ford in Germany, İş Bank in Turkey. As a result, everyone looks at the same signboard, but everyone sees the advertisement related to their own country.* Thus, 100 signboards are reached per country. Companies apply for the 100 signboards of whichever country they want to be on. The advertisements of the first hundred on that signboard are published.
