My Potato Harvest from Three Buckets: plus follow-up to Gardening with Gophers

This harvest comes from just three Home Depot five-gallon buckets. I'm growing for two people, so these potatoes are enough for us until the next crop comes in. You can see that you don't have to have an acre of land to grow food!
There's also a follow-up to last week's video on Gardening with Gophers.

When do you know its time to harvest them? I planted a few potatoes that had sprouted a couple months ago and the plants are just huge!

@@cateyelizabeth85 When the leaves and stalks begin to yellow wilt, and/or fall over that usually means that it's time to harvest. Also, sometimes you can dig down carefully into the dirt with your hands to feel for potatoes. If they're big enough for you, you can pull them. Check on Google to see how long your kind of potatoes should take to mature. If it's too early, your wilted plants might just need some water. Hope this helps. 🌸🌹🌿
