Very nice video...what I hv seen throughout my PhD life at IITG here that most important factor is the Supervisor. If the Supervisor is good enough, one can do good research with good publication and finish Phd quickly and final get a Job or a Post Doc. Otherwise things becomes very hard.

@@rishmtechzz9890 Hostel lena compulsory hai, unless married. Ha CSE/AIDS PhD Wale baithate hai placement me, lekin unka alag se hota hai maximum time.

Sir i have qualified in interview for phd and also got a mail form a professor then i have replied him that i want to work with him, how much time will take for call letter for admission ? , will they short more students after interview, what are the chances of getting selected? Should i apply for other institute as a backup?

If professor has mailed you then it will be confirm only. Minimum 3 weeks it will take for results. After interview they will not select any student. Again next phase they will select. You can apply for other institutions also for backup. As, what is your specialization?

sir my BTech degree will complete till last August but in IIT Guwahati registration for mtech 1St sem students is 22 July, then is there any problem or admission would be cancel.

No, I don't think so. You please ask the MTech admission IITG, I think they will consider. You can tell him in August you will get provisional degree, our session were late. You convince them, they will listen to you.

Mujhe bhi average English hi ati hai, wo bhi PhD me jake sikhe hai. PhD me apna kam ko itna bar apko present karna hota hai ki aap sikh jaoage. PhD karne ka intension hona chahiye, English bas kam chalane bhar ane se ho jata hai.

@@anjalimaddheshiya3448 Scope to hai hi, lekin apko PhD ke bad thoda sa mehnat karna hoga postdoc khojane me foreign universities me, ak bar mil Gaya to career ke liye bahut achha hoga. PhD me Scope, college pe nahi, research and high quality paper publications pe mainly depend karta hai. Aap bas achha se paper publications pe focus kijiaga to bahut scope hai.

I am going to enroll in Mtech program in IIT. Further my aim is to do Phd for academics (Asst profressor) to kya sir me dono degree le sakta hu Mtech ko Phd me upgrade karke? IIT BHU/IIT KGP in electrical department.

Ha easily le sakte ho. Waha pe jab 2nd year me hoge tab PhD ka form nikalega bhar Dena. Isilia M.Tech me aap achha supervisor and topic chunana usi ko PhD me continue kar dena. To jaldi PhD ho jayega.

For pdf in USA or Anywhere, you have to get a call from supervisor. Please mail to faculties related to your area. After getting offer, Faculty will tell you what are the documents that is required. After that you have to clear VISA process only, that's it.

The institutional fellowship is 31k during the initial year and increase to 37k and then to 42k with the conduction of Enhancement seminars
