    @Chris Ruiz My bad, I wasnt very clear, not in that pond, but he is going to build one specifically for the Gar. That way theres no chance of the other animals getting eaten. And you're welcome good sir.

    Alligator gar are my favorite fish I fish the 7 footers and have a 2 footer in my Aquaponics pool system! Thanks for sharing

    Dont know much about gar. I just inherited some land that had a creek on it. It has a deep pool with loads of big gar in it. Like dozens of gar 3feet long. They have spots on their tails. Are they any good to eat?

    @@konnermckenna5491 i wouldnt recomend it, as there are better tasting fish to be caught. But if you wanna eat gar Id recomend you make gar balls. Its the only way Ive had it and as far as i know the best way to cook gar.

    I caught a gar while fishing we had to use our shoe to get it back in the water My dad was there but didn’t pick it up and threw it back in the water instead kick in the water cuz we didn’t want to get bit

    Their little movements are just LIGHTNING FAST!!!! They cruise up beside stuff nice and slow, very non threatening, and then.....BLAM!!!!! Its so quick the camera would have to do a thousand frames per sec just to catch it! It's no wonder these guys have gone for millions of years untouched by nature, they were made as close to perfect as it gets! Keep the super cool content coming my friend! Seeing the notification pop up makes my day.

    The turtles should get strip uvb, so that it has full coverage and so theit shells grow normally. They also should have a basking platform so they can dry off and avoid growing bacteria.

    You should try getting some easy live aquatic plants to put in there. Anubias plants are basically indestructible, so I'd recommend those, as well as hornwort.

    I’ve heard that alligator far do kill other gars, so maybe keep an eye and separate the ones that get too big or stay smaller to avoid any losses? I haven’t personally kept them but Ohio Fish Rescue have some stories about gars and have some decent sized ones in their converted pool. Hope you’re enjoying your gar! 💖👍

    That's what I feed the tilapia's. But I wouldn't have expected the gar to appreciate them. &, No way I could get the bass to eat them... I must've missed the episode where you got these.

    I saw a whole pack of those in a little Pond over by my house hanging out in front of a drain pipe i got my net cuz I was going to catch some of them and put em in my fish tank but then I was like nah they can do their thing but now I kind of wish I had they are so freaking cool...
