My triple 8 helmet should come in the mail today😀😀

Hey George, As a 40-year-old dad, getting back into skating after a 22-year break, I’m stoked to see influencers like you making a difference (however small) in getting people to wear helmets. Back in my day (I can’t believe I just said that), I never wore a helmet. I was hesitant to wear one when I started back up. After seeing a few of your videos, I said to myself, “Why not just get over it, and be safe?” As a dad, I’ve got too much to lose if things go wrong. I stopped giving a f*ck a few months back, and wear one every time now. More than anything, having a helmet actually gives me the confidence to “send it” (however weaksauce my full effort is), and I’ve actually been progressing better since then. This morning, I did actually bail hard, and, if not for my helmet, I would have been concussed, and at the ER getting stitches. I’ve been convincing my buds to get back into it too, and they’re all getting helmets... thanks to me... thanks to you. Thanks.

In my opinion wearing a helmet makes you feel a lot more confident on the board.

Loved the flat gap session George!! And I really respect your position on helmets. I always where one when I skate, just cause I care more about my brain than being “cool”. But I still get kinda self conscious abt it around my friends at school but when I feel that, I just think about your skating, and the insane confidence you have when you skate. If you can rip, them you should be able to wear whatever tf you want. Thanks for being such a good influence on skaters. Peace bro

@@DerFinneMC well they are supposed to reduce impact unlike regular helmets and take in all the force throughout the helmet. Though triple 8 also has some technology like that while being comfortable. I think s1 might be uncomfortable

Sick way to organize the SD cards 🙌🏻 very creative Dude bs tails are coming in hot 🔥🔥 That flat gap looks hella fun 😤🦄 Definitely will provide a great partnership to them, I don’t wear helmets because that’s just how I started off although I’ve hit my head and gotten 7 staples and other times not as bad I just think I’m being stubborn that doesn’t mean I devalue a skater for their choices to wear it or not.

I took a nasty slam last week. I didn't hit my head, but I came really close and skinned my arms and shit. I'm looking forward to getting back out, but I'm wearing protective equipment for sure. I'm too old to be messing with my safety

help me please. ive been skating for 4 months and i still can't ollie. my brother is 2 years younger and he learned EVERYTHING i learned in 4 months, in ONE DAY. I'm talking about 180° kickturns, fakie on ramp, (kind of a) old skool kickflip and stuff. and there's another thing. i ride goofy, but if I'm trying to ollie i have to stand regular on my board. *please help me.*

Don't you hate people who correct you on your trick names? Well here I am, there's no such thing as a backside Smith, the backside version of a Smith grind is called a Monty grind because it was first done by Monty Nolder, the Frontside is called a Smith after Mike Smith who did it that way first. Ta da! Pedantic fact of the day, its even in Wikipedia 😁
