GOOD EVENING AXOLOTS how are you all doing this fine morning, glad your day was terrible anyways, I have come out of the dark woods to bring you your once in a blue moon meal, you are welcome. This one showcases my parents and how they met because I thought it was really interesting when my mum showed it to me B) it's also cool to see how different cultures go with the wedding stuff yeehaw hawyee
hopefully you guys can read because it's 80% in #subtitles but listen here fella I tried to dub over everything myself and the result was an even more Walmart version of the squid game English dubs, and I don't think any of us would like to see that arrive in the light of DAY
with that being said, I just wanted to leave this here as a lil tribute to my parents. hope u all have a swell one anD I PROMISE THERE WILL BE MORE CONSISTENT UPLOADS SOON TRUST ME BRO

my dad passed away 4 years ago yesterday and my mom told my sister and I her and my dad's story. my mom grew up in a city but her parents were from a small town, and she was visiting her hometown during university for break, and dropped by at her friend's house. my mom and her friend heard loud music coming from one of her neighbor's houses and they played rock paper scissors to see who would have to go over and tell them to quiet down. my mom lost and went to visit the neighbor and lo and behold, it was my father. my dad apparently "very sweetly" apologized. my mom didn't like him at first but he kept pining after her (apparently he even threatened to jump off of a wall for her 😭) my mom eventually caved and agreed to a date and they immediately clicked. 5 years later they got married and had my sister. 3 years after that they had me. they hit a lot of rough patches but they worked it out in the end. my dad unfortunately was diagnosed with stage 4 leukemia. my mom always said losing in rock paper scissors was tge best thing that ever happened to her lol

My parents never write love letters, but they do pass notes to each other on scrap paper and apparently my mom kept everything. So it'd be like.... my dad's handwriting, then my mom's handwriting below it, and so on and so forth The most memorable note I've read though was from 2 papers, which was a scrap phonebill paper and a scrap ticket On the back of the phonebill is written Mom: my mom will be mad though Dad: no worries, it's just one day trip Mom: but it's pretty far away Dad: I'll arrange everything, let's take a bus so it'll be quicker And on the scrap ticket Dad: I'm so sorry, this is my fault Mom: no worries dear, this is my fault too. I'll cover for you so that my mom won't scold you too much Dad: still though, I promised to take care of it.. I didn't calculate it'll take us till midnight Mom: it's fine love. I had fun too. We should do it again So basically my mom and dad planned a secret date with each other on another city, took a bus ride till midnight, then got found out and scolded by my grandma while STILL passing notes to each other. What the fuck.

That was the most romantic story I ever heard (also can we just talk about how beautiful her mom's wedding dresses are? like- if i don't have that at my wedding, i don't want to get married)

this reminds me so much of my mum and dad- the other day i found my dad's cringy letters and i was running around the house shouting out its contents while mum was chasing me yelling me to return (it prolly had something in it i wasnt allowed to read more than the first page-.-)
