Early 50s might still be too young, they both would've been married at just 20 to be 52 now. Not many people marry at 20 unless somebody forgets to use a condom. Just sayin'.

@@DolFan316 that's more of a this generation thing, a lot of people in preview generations got married younger and not for forgotten condom reasons. My parents where in there early 20's when they got merried.

@@scottrauch1261 Actually it's the other way around. People back in the '80s and '90s tended not to get married before at least 23, when they were out of college. To get married while still in college or college age almost certainly meant an accidental pregnancy. The only other explanation is that they were high school sweethearts, but that's never even implied so we don't know.

@@DolFan316 not everyone went to college (even then) and it depends if your looking at the merrage age from the womans age or the men's age as woman often get married younger the when men get married. Looking at the average age of marriage for the 80's was still young at 22 it's when you get into the 90's when the age jumps to 24 and continued to climb to the near 30 you have now.

@@scottrauch1261 And if they got married 32 years ago at age 20 (just speculating obviously) that would still be 2 years younger than the average age at the time (and since it was '89 the average may have climbed a year since it's almost the '90s). At any rate we'll never know unless Jacob or his parents say for sure.

I'm wondering if it was because of that one scene that showed the Demogorgon mini. While it doesn't look exactly like the 5e demogorgon, it has similar features which she can sort of relate it to - the two heads, weird tendril arms mostly.

It's amazing how much Jacob looks like his mother.

This pleases me because in one of my campaigns, we actually have Fred the mind flayer, and he's a super chill, if alcoholic, surfer dude.
