I have a question which is not really directly connected to this video. Can we after completing for eg.MRCEM or any other Royal College Exam for that matter(MRCP, MRCOG, MRCS etc except MRCGP ) then directly apply for a speciality training (ST4 onwards...)? I suppose we could apply for a non-training post as well? Thank You.

Hello. You could possibly, theoretically. It is better if you are a consultant and on the specialist register because clients will be happy to pay more. Having said that, to open an independent private practice in a health care sector, CQC approval is needed.

I did non training job for 1 year in the U.K. Then applied for core training.
