Some facts for you:
- Honor Oak Park (also called lovingly called HOP) is on the Overground and Southern Rail and takes you into London Bridge in about 10 minutes (three stops - Brockley, New Cross Gate & London Bridge Station)
- It is in the borough of Lewisham
- Lovely surrounding areas: Dulwich, Brockley
- Lots of families with children in this area - people generally own their houses a lot of the time
- I would have loved to be able to buy there but prices are steep nowadays :D

I can´t believe you lived in HOP!! I spend my AuPAir year there and am still there fairly often to visit my hostfam. I can definitely say that Honor Oak PArk took my heart!

Did some digging on London flats bcs I want to move there one day and I nearly fainted at some of the prices! So I think that this is a very lovely flat for the price. I mean, obviously it had some problems that we didn't see like you said, but I feel like you kinda have to live with those if you want to live in London (dampness, not properly done carpentery etc.) I'm really picky but after seeing what flats London has to offer, I wouldn't mind living here (maybe except the landlord :D)

Really nice place. But holy is that expensive. Actually nice that you as an “immigrant” could afford a place like this. Motivates me!
My nan is in Honor Oak cemetery. 😔 I went a couple years ago for the first time since about 1999 but during the last 15+ years since I last went the place has filled up with 21st century graves and I couldn't find her before closing time 😢 try again properly later this year. I have no idea why I told you this apart from the fact that's the only connection I have with Honor Oak. Hope Rochester is treating you well. I have a few family down Dartford and Chatham. Ok life story over, sorry about that (deep breath) 🤭
Did you live in Honor Oak Park after you lived in East Finchley?
can i ask if you remember how much rent it was? im moving to london next year and having trouble finding something affordable and nice so im wondering how much this one was/which zone it was in bc i really like the look of it :)

Ahh.. whats a London flat without the accompanying damp, eh! Just be thankful u didn't develop asthma or other upper respiratory issues. Part of the charm... or so they say.

wie du immer skeptisch warst gegenüber South London.. Finde es wunderschön dort, habe in Battersea gelebt. Wieder mal ein Beweis dass man nie urteilen sollte bevor man es erlebt hat

Jen Dre lebe in Lewisham. Ist natürlich eine roughe Gegend aber immerhin ist man in 10 min in Greenwich mit dem dlr 😂
I must be used to garbage; the place looked damned nice. I'll have to drive over to HOP and check out the feels of the place.I live on Addison Road, but I can't live with my parents forever, and the rents here are horrendous. Too bad about your Honorable Lord of the Land being a dick. .

London flats often dont have any. Theres a window right near so they dont have to have one. My house actually doesnt have one either 🤣
