  • @karinbrtv508

With 19 she is not even fully developed. It is not about the outside. I have had clients who thought they are happier after a nose job etc. and then their nose was ruined and they felt even worse. Working as a psychologist and trust me, the issues with self-esteem and self-confidence are still present after an operation for the majority of people. Just look at Michel. Did she chose the right man for her just because her nose was done? No, she chose a partner who manipulated her and cheated on her and she accepted so much bs from him despite her nose job... I think people should accept their flaws and love themselves more. Comparison is so bad... If there would only your be your daughter on earth, no other people to compare, no people to judge her, would she still go for a nose job??

Fun fact: I’m taking a toxicology course for the summer and we literally just learned about how people process different medications and drugs differently. Due to their genetic CYP450 enzyme profiles which are responsible for metabolizing drugs. You probably one of the rarer people in the poor metabolizer group. Lol I watched this video to take a break from studying, but somehow it still related to the course in a way.

Paola Luchsinger I just got my nose done 4 days ago. I was absolutely TERRIFIED of the anesthesia due to the same reasons you are worrying about. I went through it and I promise it was not bad at all! Of course there are risks with any surgery and anesthesia so make sure you are going to a very experienced doctor. For me personally, I do not remember even falling asleep and I woke up feeling very tired. The only bad thing that happened to me after anesthesia was when I got home I vomited blood but I felt a lot better after snd that’s completely normal after a rhinoplasty. Do not be scared, I am such a baby when it comes to this stuff and I did it! Get your nose done it will be the best decision ever!!! Good luck!

Before having nose surgery PLEASE research Empty Nose Syndrome What is Empty Nose Syndrome? ENS can occur as a complication of nasal surgery and is most commonly associated with turbinate reduction. The condition of ENS is characterized by damage to nasal nerves and impaired nasal aerodynamics. ENS can occur within weeks, months or years following turbinate surgery. It describes a nose crippled by excessive resection or damage to the inferior and/or middle nasal turbinates. Nasal turbinates are organ of the nose within the nasal cavity. When turbinates are excessively resected (partially/ totally removed) or are significantly damaged (despite ‘adequate’ tissue remaining), normal nasal physiology is lost. When this happens, some nasal functions such as warming & humidifying air, filtering, immunologic defense, and smell are damaged. With the destruction or loss of nasal mucosa, the nose is left in a chronic state of painful dryness, lacking necessary or correct nasal aerodynamic features, without the ability to sense air, motion, and temperature. Breathing difficulties are central to this condition with feelings of suffocation and shortness of breath often leading to difficulty sleeping and trouble concentrating. Many have little or no sense of smell. It is not known how much turbinate tissue can be removed or damaged before it destroys the physiology of the nose, resulting in ENS.
