that alfa 8c is fugly. You get all the reliability problems of an Italian car with none of the good looking styling.

There's no new 991.2 GTS yet and the 991.1 variants are really not very fast at all. Certainly slower than the F-Type in a straight line, though better handling. I doubt he'd like to trade for a slower car. Reliability also remains to be seen on the 991...I had plenty of build quality issues with my 997 - in addition to the well known engine problems with that generation.

that's half the price they used to be sold for before, they dropped from approx. 400K to 200K only just a few weeks ago. So I wouldn't say that 220K is much compared to its original price...

Thanks for your videos! passed the other week because of your vids! have an idea on maybe why they don't make motorway stuff a compulsory part of the test. I live in a pretty rural part of Northern Ireland and the nearest town where I took my test is something like 40-50 mile from the nearest motorway, thinking this is maybe why they haven't introduced it because it's not possible to include in the test for all areas!

Your vlogs are getting much much better, keep that up, well....have you considered a Lotus Evora? The problem these days, are that every vlogger goes Ferrari, Audi or Lambo, and when you consider lambo, if you cant go further in high level tuning etc. than Jon, dont even go there, he set a barrier regarding that brand for sure. Wish you good luck on your journey getting a new set of wheels.

A Maserati GranTurismo S would be my suggestion, I had one for 2 years and 11k miles, I loved it, it was beautiful, fast, handled well, comfortable, spacious, reliable and sounded fantastic. I had the MC shift gearbox which was a lot of fun but the full auto probably makes more sense in town.

Just get the blue Audi R8v10 its a bargain you should get

Considering your budget and needs and the cars you shown in this video that blue 2016 Audi R8 V10 Plus is a no brainer honestly... You don't even need to test drive anything else seriously... Amazing car, reliable, more practical than the other options and after a little while you could add a Larini Clubsport Exhaust (that you already know sounds awesome from your ride with Jude). That Abarth was a big waste of money and you know it. 12C is also a nice option.

F430 Manual ! There is a 23 000 miles black on black Coupe for sale at Hamilton Grays at £115,000 (I'm not affiliated with the seller but I think it is fairly priced considering the manual F430 market).

If your comfortable daily drive is a 695 Biposto, your Sunday toy must be...Praga R1R! plush flamethrower chezlongue for Christmas!

I'd say an R8 V10 Plus or a first gen R8 V10 manual and here are my reasons: 1. They are bloody good value considering that you basically get a supercar as fast as some supercars for almost dubble the price. 2. Their V10 roar is incredible especially with a good exhaust. 3. They are fairly common so you can easily buy aftermarket modifications to make it more unique. 4. They are modern and german so you most likely wont have any problems with them. (I've had 5 Audi's, not R8's, so far and not one problem or breakdown). 5. It's my dream car. The alternatives in my opinion would be a 12C, 911 (991) Turbo or a cheap 430 Scuderia.

They're "good value"? No, they're not. They're decent value as heavily depreciated examples. First gen R8s are now at an attractive price point, though manuals are exceedingly rare. Most are R-Tronic, which is awful. The S-Tronic is bearable. Not too impressed with the interior either - full leather wasn't standard on these cars. The one I checked out a couple of months ago didn't have that specced. Didn't look too great. Went with an F-Type R instead, like Sam, though I might have opted for a manual V10 Plus if I would have managed to find one. New ones are already around the 130k range (with an MSRP of 200k) - depreciation on these cars is absolutely insane, even worse than the F-Type (which is a pretty good deal after a year or two of depreciation as well). So, at that price point, the car is a bit more interesting, considering these vehicles are almost new. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of the new interior with the driver-only screen, but that's just me.

sell all cars u got buy a 570gt perfect daily, performance, looks, quality and reliability. And you would be one of few you tubers owning it.

Sam, whatever you do, make sure to testdrive a 599gtb aswell. It's the perfect car. A Ferrari with a V12, lots of room, easy to drive, comfortable for long roadtrips and it's a beast if you push it. I drive a 599 as a daily driver and it's that good! Not sure what they cost over there though. And it shouldnt depreciate anymore.

Buying a second hand ferrari will be much more reliable. Of course if you drive as a utter imbecile every car will break down. In my experience with a friend who owns last gen RS6(v10) he had no problems ever. 300k km's just normal maintenance.

did you see clarkson's review of the M4 GTS on the grand tour? even he says it's expensive and can't find a good point about it.

If you're hoping for something that'll escalate in value, go with the 12-C. The current 650 and 675 are so good, future buyers will be looking for the original, the first and "purest as designed". Twenty years out, the 12-C is going to be mega.

That r8 is a really good option hard to beat that. One of the best gearboxes in the world atm in that car aswell.

Get yourself a McLaren 12C. Most have them have reached peak depreciation by now, they only stopped producing them 2 years ago so they're not as old as an F430, they are alright on fuel (up to 30mpg!), its much faster than an F430 and it cruises at lower revs on a motorway

The R8 V10+ is a no brainer

That new R8 V10+ is a steal, but a 12C would be awesome too. McLarens seem to be decent with storage too.

My mate replaced his Audi R8 V8 with an F-type lol. You are doing things right, get the V10 plus!

Have you considered a Lotus evora 400? Well within you pricing range. Not as common and nice and reliable.

NSX. NSX. NSX. It's like a mini-P1. Honda reliability. Exotic looking. Somewhat usable. AWD if it snows. Quick as all get out with the Hybrid setup. 4 wheel steering with torque vectoring. Turbo so easy to reflash if you want to. Depreciation will probably be very good. New and modern. Only draw back would maybe be the sound but sure you could find a good exhaust.
