I built the Trumpeter 1/200 Arizona and took me about a year on that one. I have videos of that build but they aren't very good. I was just starting my channel and didn't really know what I was doing as far as lighting, editing, ect.

Suggestion for diorama: Russian destroyer meets Sea Shadow.

Looks like a very nice kit Ed. At 1/200 scale it should be less aggravating to build than a couple 1/700 ones I've done. Looking forward to more updates on this.

Hi Ed, great video. 1/200 ships are really expensive and to add all the aftermarket can easily double that cost. I've been wanting a Missouri for a while now, but just can't justify the cost. Your Destroyer looks great. It keeps you building ships and keeps those skills you have learned nice and sharp. I took a quick look at Scalemates. The kit did not come with a full color paint guide. There should be a black and white paint guild at the end of the instruction manual. I'll be looking forward to seeing the first update. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day my friend. Jeff

Hey Jeff! Yes, it's the cost that's holding me back on the Missouri. It would be around $1300 or so. Maybe one day down the road, I will find a deal on it. Thank you for researching the color sheet. I have watched a dozen or more unboxing of Trumpeter kits and they always have that color sheet. Interesting that they didint have one for my Sovremenny kit. Yes, there is one in black and white in the last pages of the instruction booklet. Thank you Jeff!

Hi Ed. Just came across your Channel. I'm kinda like you. Was into modeling many years ago, until life got in the way. I am now retired and back in big time. Just finished the 200 Missouri and now it is the Yamato . Kinda daunting !!! Thanks for doing what you're doing. Enough chat, time for a Beer !!!
