I like White Ensign. They supplied me a PE set for the Airfix 1/600 light cruiser HMS Ajax. I prefer the simplified instructions. 😊

Great review Ed! I wish companies would take better care in their instructions. Good instructions are unsung heroes and make a project so much more fun. I typically use Pontos when available but the instructions are absolutely awful. I had to use White Ensign for the rigols above the portholes on my HMS Nelson (still in beginning stages); thankfully not much needed in the way of instructions there.

Hi white ensign used to be based in England about ten years ago I have had a few kits and etch from them I found the same problem over the last twenty years ship kits are a hard to work out but I like them so sad they moved to America

I just bought Edward's pe set for trumpeter 350 scale liberty ship kit. It did not come with any instructions or a sheet listing what any of the parts are for . Is there a download I need to look for on there web site or do I just bang my head untill I figer it all out. By the way I just started watching your videos an I have been enjoying watching them thanks for your hard work at putting them out for us to enjoy.

I have used photo etch only a couple of times and unless it came prepackaged in the kit it did not have any instructions. That is part of the reason I cringe when I hear those two words - photo etch!

Yep, the instructions are poor. But, it's a small company, and making a 3D model like Eduard does would take a lot of time.

I would not except I would email the producer and ask these questions and if that can't supply you answers then an refund is in order, absolutely ridiculous and unexceptable by no means should you buy aftermarket that doesn't give you directions what you have with this photo etch company is garbage and those that produce this know where there parts go because they printed and why they don't show with instructions is bad business.
